try babysitting, mowing lawns anything! or fine something your mom can do.. even something as simple as a greeter at wall mart or working for the house can suit her. maybe you can your mom can start running a mini day care out of your house during the summer. also maybe you can have a garage sale? usually when we ahve at my house we get several hundred dollars and that should be enough to hold you over until she can find a small part time job. also alot of paper companies higher kids your age to go hand out papers every morning

Your mom can certainly get social security disability which will help with your bills.Your mom can also file a claim for wrongful termination of her job. Your father can go back to court and show that your income has changed and file for less child support. You can always help around the house doing anything that needs doing. I want you to remember this, though, it's not your responsibility to make sure there is food on the table. You're thirteen years old, you need to worry about your grades, school and just let the adults worry about the big things. Let your parents know you love them every day.

You could put up babysitting flyers, mow lawns, and help around the house. You could get a job and do whatever you possibly can think of. I dont understand why your mom would get fired, anyways i sure hope she gets better

first off, im really sorry!i know how you feel, my family is going through similar things.

because your thirteen, you cant really do much to help out with money issues. if you know the people in your neighborhood, you could explain the situation to them and ask if they have any odd jobs (ex. cutting their lawns, raking leaves, painting a porch, washing cars, ect.) that could get you some extra money for your parents. it wouldnt be as much as your mom would have made at her job, but believe me, the littlest helps. the money you could make from that could buy your family food for the week, ect.

also, churchs will usually donate money to people in need. if you go to church, you could talk to the paster, im sure he would be more than happy to help your family out.

i really hope the best for you and your family.good luck!if you get a chance later on, leave me a message in my inbox saying how things are going.again, good luck.

hope i helped!

It is not fair for your parents to discuss these sort of problems in front of you. You are young so you don't see what the issue really is here. This is not your problem AT ALL. All families have to deal with this, it is a very common adult problem that adults are perfectly capable of handling themselves without unloading their stress on you. If you overheard these issues and they never actually discussed them with you (I certainly hope that is the case) that is different, but again, do not worry. I can not stress this enough honey, adults have many more options, more then you can imagine, for situations just like these and there is no reason for you to be concerned. The best thing you can do is to help your mother get better. If they do (and I really hope they are not this irresponsible) talk about this in front of you, then please tell them how much stress this is causing you. They really need to stop.

I think there's some kind of law preventing people with illnesses to be fired but i'm not exactly sure. in some cases, she could sue.
You could try to get a job or maybe your mom could babysit kids at your house or something not too strenous that pays well. good luck hun and keep your head up. things will get better! <3

How old are you? Maybe you can get a job at a grocery store or something. You can maybe do extra jobs during the summer.
