what the hell should we do?
ok so, my school is having a dinner dance. my best friend and i were going to ask the ppl we like to it today after school. BUT these to guys, who we are kinda friends with and like us, asked us to the dance. but when she went on the bus today, she asked the 2 guys that we like, what they would say if we asked them. they said they would have said yes!!!!! what the hell should we do? we are in need of some serious advice!!!! thanks

well you should go out with the people who asked you to the dance. i mean who knows? maybe you and them could become closer. and then after that you can go somewhere with the guys you like. or it could be the other way around. good luck! and have fun at the dance! bye

i say that you go to the dance with the two boys who asked you, but after the dance maybe you and your best friend shuld ask the boys you like out. If they said that they would have gone to the dance with you, then maybe they like you.

What answer did you give to the 2 guys who had already asked you? If you said no, then you're clear to go with the 2 guys you both like. But if you said yes, it's very unfair to cancel on those 2 guys for someone else. I say go with the ones who asked you if you already said yes. You wouldnt like it if someone agreed to go out with you and then changed their mind because someone better came along. Make sure they are aware that you're only going as friends.
Alternatively. You could ALL go together. There is no rule that says you have to go to dances with a date.. so you could all go together as a group of friends. That way, the guys who asked you get their way, and you get your way by going with the guys you wanted to ask.

Hey, i suggest that you do one of two things, u either tell the guys that ur goin with right now that your really sorry and you have to cancel with them because you were already planning to go with somebody else, or you tell the hotties sorry but we already have dates the the dance, but if you wanna hang out sometime that'd b cool or somthin lik that you know

have you already said yes to the first boys who asked you? if not, then that's easy. just say politely and nicely that you and your friend were planning on going with other people, and that your really sorry. If you lie about something like "i'm not going to the dance" then eventually they will find out that you lied and THAT will hurt them way more then if you politely say no. i mean, why shouldn't you have a good time just because the you aren't enjoying your dates?

Well, how do you feel about these boys? You guys are friends right? Maybe you could ask these boys to the dance and ask if you guys could go just as friends. Dances don't neccessarily have to be gone to with "dates." Why don't you just go with these guys as friends? Make sure they know that too, that you're just friends. No matter what, have fun at the dance, that's what's really important!

well, tell the guys that you want to cancle & go with these other guys, it seems mean... but, you want to go with other people. So, your going to just have to tell the other guys.

i dont think you should back out on the dance with the two kids who like you because thats mean and you wouldnt like it done to you. after the dance is over then just ask those guys if they want to hang out with you guys or something, that way noone gets hurt!
