coffeexaddict answered Saturday June 17 2006, 11:15 pm: That happens to me alot, too. I'm anemic though, so I'm low on iron. Have you gotten checked for Anemia? I would say to check that with your doctor. But this could also be something minor, such as just staring off too long or you black out a little. I wouldn't think too much of it, unless it becomes consistent and begins to blurr your vision alot. [ coffeexaddict's advice column | Ask coffeexaddict A Question ]
Friday_im_in_love answered Sunday April 16 2006, 1:32 pm: You're blacking out for a split second. That used to happen to me too. I have a lower blood sugar (Normal, but still a bit lower) which can sometimes make me black out for a second. If you eat more salty foods (Pretzels and gatorade are great) it's less likly to happen. Sitting up too fast causes it usually. - Meg [ Friday_im_in_love's advice column | Ask Friday_im_in_love A Question ]
Nallie answered Saturday April 15 2006, 8:43 pm: Although this may happen to many people you shouldn't assume that it is normal.
What I would do if it were me: Take your blood pressure 3 times in a row for three days. Take it lying down, sitting up, and then standing. Keep a record to show your Dr. It's always best to discuss health concerns with a Dr just in case.
IAmShammay answered Saturday April 15 2006, 6:41 pm: its usually normal. i get that a lot because i have low iron in my blood. i have to take vitamins with iron in them, nothing serious. [ IAmShammay's advice column | Ask IAmShammay A Question ]
soccerplayer5674 answered Saturday April 15 2006, 4:38 pm: Hey it happens to everyone its just from getting up too fast because your body was resting and all the sudden your blood starts rushing to get up. You're fine =)
Vikki27 answered Saturday April 15 2006, 4:12 pm: It sounds like a head rush. It just happens sometimes when you get up too quickly. You can also feel really dizzy or occasionally (in bad cases) it can make you black out for a second or two.
itsz_JESS answered Saturday April 15 2006, 3:42 pm: well if you feel kinda dizzy too it might be because when you are sitting down your blood pressure is slow and then when you stand up the blood tries to get to your brain or something.. i think its kinda normal because that happens to me sometimes [ itsz_JESS's advice column | Ask itsz_JESS A Question ]
