All Religions
Can anyone tell me a little bit about all the religions they know and what they are about? I don't know which to pursue. Thank you very much. I am agnostic as of now. I thought I was atheist. I'm not so sure anymore.

...Islam(muslims) is a religion that says that there is only one god and he is the creator of heavens and earth and that noone helped him creat this and that he has no sons no wife or anything like that and prophet mohamed(ppbuh) is his messenger, islma has five pillars,which are things you have to do to become a muslim...1) is bearing witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah(god)and that mohamed is the messenger of Allah.2)prayer....this is a very important one if you want to be muslim,muslims pray 5 times a day thanking God for all of the things he has bestowed upon them.3) is giving money to the poor in the month of ramadan.4) is fasting in the holy month of ramadan....ramadan is a month that comes each year and muslims dont eat from like 4 am till 5 pm and god made them do this so they can thank him and be happy that they have food and to feel the hunger of most ppl that dont have any food.5) last thing(this isnt a must if you dont have money) is going to hajj(pilgrimage) its a place you go to to pray and go walk around the ka'bah to ask god for anything you want and to be forgiven....thoes who go there are forgiven from all their sins......muslims are very decent people that shouldnt curse stuff like that(and NO islam is not a terrorist religion....osama bin laden can be a terrorrist but muslims arent...they dont even agree to whats been hapening in iraq and all)muslims also believe in the day of judgment which is a day where everyone will come alive from the dead to be judged about their doings and only Allah creator of this world will judge them.from that day there will be either going to heaven or hell depending on your doings.Allah is very merciful and forgiving like for example if you done something like REALLY bad and you regret it and ask Allah for forgivness he will forgive you,muslims also have signs that prove that the day of judgment is coming closer and that they should start becoming better muslims and scary thing is that most of them have already happened...all i want you to do is visit this website about the miracles of islam the word allah is written in arabic in most places ....[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and another thing is that muslims are NOT allowed to make fun of christianity or jewish religion its totally sinfull because God said in the holy quran that muslims should have respect for others....even muslim girls....if you have seen that most of them cover their hair it is because Allah wants the muslim woman to be protected by not exposing her body to other men and being a prey of sexuall stuff.well please visit the website i told you about by just cliking on it and on that website you might not get the miracle of the mosque....a mosque is a place where muslims pray....please visit it and if you have any other questions about islam my ask me

Saint_Gasoline gave a really good answer, and I can tell that she really has done some research about her different religions. I am now in the last quarter of a theology class, World Religions. It's extremely hard to just write down what the religions are about in a short paragraph, but if you want to contact me and have any certain questions about the religions of Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, or Hinduism, feel free to ask me. Being Catholic, I can also try to answer your questions about that. We covered the topic of salvation outside the Church at the beginning of the year so if you have questions about that, I can help you out. :)

Well I am Christian and most people think that we are all goody goody and don’t sin but they are wrong. We try to love as much as we can and I try and love Jesus as much as I can but it is still hard. But I believe if some one were to ask me if I believed and they had a gun to my head I would still say yes. And I don’t really care what any one thinks of me. The reason why I am telling you about me are because my faith is what makes the religion so great and powerful. Because I can still for give people that harm me. And I can talk to Jesus when I need advice. Sometimes I will be thinking about something that is bothering me and god will settle my heart by telling me through someone ells like my dad or mom or a good friend. Like I will be thinking and the phone will ring. And they will tell me that they miss me or want to see me that’s how god works he is so amazing he can help people. But some people wonder why god lets people suffer to understand fully is impossible for me but I am told that with out suffer there is no compassion it is still hard to comprehend I no but I take Jesus as he is. this is pretty much what they average Christian thinks and feels I am not good at explaining what happened to god and who he is but you should try going to a Baptist church for a week to check it out you seem like a pretty opened minded person thanks for asking this question please get back to me you don’t have to rate me just tell me what you think about it. To me telling about something I love dose not come at any cost I like doing it that’s why I don’t care if you rate me.

Well I'll tell u about the 3 religions I know about (alot about):
Islam- I'm a muslim...so i can help. Muslim believe in Allah and the Qurran//Koran. they have the stories like the bible except they are a bit more believable and there are different names. We believe in Jesus, Esa, but not as the son of God as a phophet.
Hinduism- It's worshipping idol and statues. Now I duno how it works but I'm among alot of them and I know they believe in stufff like Lakstmi and hamnuman (a monkey in a human form) and they make idols and put flowers and have puja(prayers) for them.
Roman Catholic- They believe jesus is the son off god and Mary is the virgin. Basically they believe in the father, son and holy ghost. They celebrate easter and they have like st. patricks day and stuff.

Buddhism,CHRISTIANITY which I strongly recommend so you won't go to Hell and burn for eternity, and Islam are the three main religions I know of. The info you will have to look up for yourself.
