Acne

Question Posted Wednesday March 8 2006, 1:18 am

I have really bad acne sometimes. I can't even get rid of it most of the time. Does any one have a cheap really good successful cure (or almost cure) for complex acne?

I think that you should go to a dermatologist for a perscription. the medication that they give you really keeps your acne under control. If you can't go to a dermatologist then buy the acne free if you can't buy Proactiv.

Here are some home remedies for acne:

1.Dab a small amount of toothpaste (paste, not gel) on pimples before bed; this helps dry out the pimples.
2.Mix equal amounts of lemon juice and rose water, apply to face with a cotton ball, and allow to sit for 30 minutes before rinsing. 15-20 days of this application helps cure pimples and also helps to remove blemishes and scars.
3.Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight. Wash off with warm water next morning.
4. For acne that hasn't seemed to respond to anything, steep 2-3 tsp. dried basil leaves in 1 cup boiling water for 10-20 minutes, cool, and apply to affected area with a cotton ball

the best way to get rid of them would be rubbing alcohol. It drys up the pores and really works. don't do it too much otherwise it will dry up your face. Just use enough to cover your face just once and youre set to go. like brushing your teeth, morning, noon, and night.

Use this face masque, called Queen Helene's Mint Julep masque, I tell this to everyone, and it does work. Also if you hyave really bad spots, use 1/4 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and 2 drops of tea tree oil, dot it on the area with a cotton swab, then cover it with a band aid overnight and then in the morning it should gone or faded a lot. Hope this helps.
Tea tree oil- $6
Apple cider vinegar- $4
Masque- $3
so all in all its no to expensive.

I use Proactive, and it works miracles, but if that is too expensive, then you should try Biore products, which you can get an basically any store.

Try Mary Kay`s Velocity..I have used it for three years && it clears things up for me && pervents me from having more break outs.. Also they have a spot treatment too it also works good..

It does cost a bit of money i guess the cleanser && mousurizer are like $$28..

you can look it up on their website if you`d like at www.marykay.com
