Okay #1 Your period DOES NOT STOP when you are in the water. The water is just washing away the flow and making it less noticeable.

The only thing you can really do is wear a tampon. Pads and napkins will get soggy and fall apart.

i would definatly not wear a pad in the ocean, or swimming at all for that matter. the only thing i have to say to this is wear tampons. sure they`re uncomfortable at first but once you get used to them you can`t feel them at all, and they`re way easier than pads.

No, the napkin won't work.

You should probably just wear a tampon, or not go swimming.

You really should not wear pads in the water... for obvious reasons.

Tampons are not so bad; you just have to find the ones that fit you. they are much much better than pads for water; they don't absorb the water and they aren't as noticable.

you could just go with out, as your period goes on a temporary hiatus while you arein water. it shouldn't affect you too badly.

you will bleed into the suit if you don't wear anything.. but you can't wear a pad/napkin because it can actually cause reproducing problems and you could have complications having a baby.. =/ the only other choice really is a tampon.. but you could wear the wet suit but you would just have to wash it real good to get the blood out.. but being in the water doesn't stop the blood flow

It depends on your blood flow. Like if your heavy, (although blood stops in water), I wouldn't. For sure. I'm not really sure that you want to put a napkin in your wet suit, because it would dissolve or tear or shred. But, even though it would move around a little bit, you could try a CareFree pantyliner. I've used those before, although I wear tampons.

You can go in without anything but you run the chance of bleeding everywhere. No, the napkin/pad will just soak up the water and it will be useless. Plus you might be able to see it though the wet suit... The point of wearing a tampon while you are swimming instead of a pad is because since it's inside you, it won't soak up the water.
