im stuck
ok im 15/f. my bf now we have been dating a little over a year, and i love him with all my heart, i would do anythin for him in this world we'll call him FRED.well we broke up for like 2 weeks and i dated a boy (bob)and i broke up with him because i couldnt stop thinking about fred. my dad dont let me see fred or talk to him but now that we are dating again i have been in such a good mood and everything like that. me and bob got along good and were good friends now but the other day he asked me to go to prom with him what should i do??? is that considered cheating if i would go with him or is that wrong or what(going as friends)?

Hey I really hope you get this answer. First i want to tell you i am 17 now but i went to the prom with my boyfriend at the time when i was 15. 1st of all i wouldnt go . FOr 3 reasons. 1st off if you go it will ruin your prom honistly im not joking, the first time you go to a prom it should be at yours. 2nd you certainaly shouldnt spoil it by going with a friend. Not only that i really dont think your boyfriend would apreciate it. Think about it . if you boyfriend told you he was going to the prom with a girl that he says is just a friend how would you react? im pretty sure you would be pissed. i know i would be. Obioustly this guy "BOb still likes you because why woudl he want you to go to his prom. Prom is a major thing you dont just go with any old friend. Not only that . Your boyfriend realizes the way guys minds work and I dont think he would be to impressed. so out of the respect of your boyfriend. dont go . wait until the day that its your prom. then you can spend that amazing day with your sweety :) . i hope you take my advice. if you get this message. please respond back so i knwo what you think thanks..... -Whitney

Okay, first, are you & "Fred" going to prom together..? You didn't really say.
Anyway, first you would need to talk to your boyfriend about it. Tell him the situation and things. Let him know whats going on. If he wants you to go to prom with him, then you'll simply have to tell the other kid No. If he doesn't want to go to prom with you [or whatever], then ask him if he would mind if you go with bob JUST AS FRiENDS. Just make sure you tell Bob, that you are only going as friends.. and tell him if he wants more, than you can't go.
Just make sure you say all of this before anything gets too far & out of hand. ;D

I have a boyfriend. If a girl asked him to prom and he went, I would be very upset and I know he would be also if it happend to me. Just talk to them both about it. See what happens. Good Luck.

tell him that you already got asked by "fred" but if something goes wrong, tell "bob" you will go with him.

find out how your boyfriend feels about it. if you truly know in your heart and bob does too, that you guys are just going AS FRIENDS, then its not cheating. but since bob is an ex boyfriend fred could get jealous and if he doesn`t want you to go, i wouldn`t fight it. you made the choice to be with fred for a reason, you don`t wanna mess that up to go to prom with only a friend. especially since prom is more of a couples dance anyways.

Well it depends if bob and fred go to the same school.
If you go to school with both, then i would go with your bf, not bob.
But if you don't go to school with fred,then call him and see if it's cool with him. It should be okay, because you would just be going with bob as a friend.

I think since Fred is your boyfriend you should go with Fred to the prom.
Think about the situation if it were the other way around.

Well wouldn't Fred want to go to the prom with you? Okay I'm guessing Fred or Bob doesn't go to the same school or you dont go to the same school.
You should really talk to Fred before you decide on anything. Ask him if he minds you two going as friends. Let him know that you only care about Bob as a friend. Definitely make sure Fred is okay with everything, but also let him know that you should be able to go to the prom with Bob because he is one of your friends. Make sure Bob knows that Fred is your boyfriend. And that when you guys go to the prom you guys are just friends.
No its not considered cheating if nothing happens between you and Bob and you guys are friends so its just like hanging out, but its at the prom. Hope this helps!

You could go as friends. Fred may not be happy about it though if he finds out. You should probably tell him beforehand if you are interested in keeping him as your boyfriend. Decide from there.
It isn't cheating if Fred gives the okay and nothing happens between you and Bob. :)
