what am underweight? im 17 male 5'7" weight 130 lb.'s its it ok for my age cause i look realy skinny how can i gain weight i eat a lot fat foods but don't gain weight. can some one give tips.

actually your around a natural weight. but um just eat and excersize healthy. your probably not gaining much weight because you have a fast matabelism. im actually trying to do the same but i mean eventually we will all gain weight when we're older lol

u have fast mattabilism. Eat helthy foods. If u eat fatty foods your body will burn it up fast and burn up even more fat. Eat healthy and u will get a healy weight. ]
don't eat alot of fat foods...that is just bad for your health on the inside of you. if you want to gain weight, start eating protiens, good carbs, and start working out. that way, you will gain muscle which will help you gain weight. hope i helped! ]

Working out can help you build muscle and alot pople prefer guys to be skinny. I like guys either way but working out would be the best solution. They have bars that you can eat that helps you gain weight. You can find them anyway like walmart. ]
Muscle weighs much more than fat. Try lifting weights. Start small though. Also foods high in protein will help you with your muscle building. ]

Sounds like you have a really fast matabalism(sp?), but I know some guy friends of mine who are just like that. Some of the things they did was not necessarily eat fat foods, but eat foods high in protein, and work out wich put a lot of muscle weight on. ]
It's probably your metabolism--you might have hyperthyroidism. Then again, I'm not a doctor and I haven't given you a check up or anything. But either way, don't eat fatty foods to bulk up. They clog your arteries and are just unhealthy. You don't want to be FAT, you want to be buff. For that, you should lift weights. It won't make you skinnier, it will give you bigger muscles and even add to your weight. But I would also suggest seeing a doctor and getting your thyroid checked. ]
