Or, draw covers of books you think are interesting. Going along with the subject of books, if you prefer to draw from imagination, take a scene from one of those books and draw it out. Have fun!

FunnyCide answered Thursday February 16 2006, 8:41 pm: I love drawing.
Look up something random on the internet (like... a jar of pickles) and draw that. OR if you have a jar of pickles at home, get it out of the fridge or pantry and draw it. I love drawing random things so... here goes.
- Pencils. Grab some colored pencils (or crayons/markers) and make yourself a still life on the floor, like a child was coloring (you could even draw a silly childish picture like some birds and a stick figure) then draw the crayons/paper - which is your still life.
- Your computer.
- Your bed.
- Pickles.
- Pencil sharpener.
- Cell phone / house phone
- Nail polish (in still-life form)
- Makeup (I really like creating still lifes. I don't think it's really a still life though because it never was alive...)
- Flowers. If you have potted plants indoors..?
- TV
- Doll house. If you have younger siblings or an old doll house from when you played with Barbies, set up some dolls in the house and draw them.
- Your "dream room."
- An alien-like creature.
- Look up a famous drawing online and recreate it.
- Text books
- Shoes
- Earrings
- Clothes
- Flowers (of your imagination..)
- a swingset with no kids playing on it
- your kitchen

honu22 answered Thursday February 16 2006, 8:16 pm: Draw what intrests you! Have a favorite animal, sport, hobby, anything? If you still have no idea, you can improve on drawing by sketching your surroundings. You can get pretty good if you keep drawing often enough. [ honu22's advice column | Ask honu22 A Question ]
STACEESxADVICE answered Thursday February 16 2006, 7:59 pm: Well, I used to LOVE my sketch pad and something I always drew was movie covers. Any sort of movie box that I could find on my shelf. Like, DVD/VCR boxes. The pics are normally easy.
jeanine278972 answered Thursday February 16 2006, 7:57 pm: Um.. I don't really know what you like, but try drawing animals or fantasy creatures : unicorns, dragons, cherubs, centaurs, stuff you might find in a fantasy book. Thats always fun. Or find something outside you like and sketch it.
