Boyfriend
I just started dating this guy a little while ago, and I like him, but it's so hard to talk to him. He's really sweet and I really do like him, but we can't ever have a conversation without awkward silences. Should I continue to go out with him and hope things get better, or should I just break up with him? Thanks.

if you really like him, why not spend a lil more time with him. it takes time and a lil effort inorder to get things started you know what i mean? then try just having regular conversations, its the lil things that make a big diffrence. hope it helps

yeah and on your free time think of things to talk about maybe write them down and next time you talk to him you will have something to talk about .... sports... music ... friends ... curent events you know advrige stuff things will get better when you both get used to talking about anything i hope i helped!

WEll if you really like him then sweetie you should deff. stick with him! Think before you go out things that you could talk about that he would be intrested in as well as you. Tell yourself you WONT let there be any aquward silences while you are with him.. TEll yourself over and over and when ever there is quiet keep the conversation going!
If you try it will work and you guys will get closer and sooner or later it will come naturaly..

hey hun, well you guys just started dating it might just be you guys are a little nervous and you just arent totaly comfortable yes, so you should just wait a little bit and see how things go...maybe later he will turn into somebody you can really talk to...or you could tell him that you wish he was a little more open...or you could just find a bunch of convo starters and maybe he will open up more...

Hey, since you two have just started going out, it wouldn't be such a good idea to just break up with him over lack of conversation and considering the fact that you really like him. Get to know him a little better. Ask him questions about himself. It could also be that he is a little shy.

i think it would depend on his age. if you guys are still in your teens give him some time.. guys arent really used to that kind of thing and if you guys are older i would say break up with him.. if he cant talk now chances are he wont change

Hey you shouldn't just break up with him ykou give it time... while trying to work it out. Like when ya'll talk, just bring up normal stuff what happened to yu that day, any good things that happened, movies, music, ya know the basics.

I think that it will get better with time. That's how it was with my boyfriend and I when we first started going out.
You'll should get to know each other better. You'll will find things to talk about. Soon the silent moments will go away.
