Post Script, it's an addition to a letter that has already been signed.

It stands for "post script". You use it after you sign your name and if you forgot to say something in the letter. I hope I helped :)

It means post script.

Its used after youve said what youve wanted to say. So instead of re-reading it all and adding what you forgot or left out or whatever. You can add PS.

TheOldOne answered Monday January 23 2006, 9:44 pm:
It literally means "after writing", from the Latin "post scriptum". A postscript is normally placed after the signature on a letter, and is itself followed by the writer's initials or nickname.

It dates back to the ancient days when letters were written by hand, with ink, on paper (or parchment). If the author thought of something to add after he'd finished, he had no choice but to write it in at the bottom of the letter.

it stands for post script. it means that there is additional information that the person forgot to write on the message or note. either that or they don't want you to forget because its important so they write it away from the rest of the note.
