I'm really not liking my advicenators name anymore. Its so corny XSugarpieX77, i mean come on. I have a 4.95 rating, should I make a new site? or, is there a way to change my username but keep my advice page?
thanks.
I used to want to start a new column, too. Just because I didn't like my user name. Then I relized how stupid that was because I put a lot of work into this one. I don't think I'm ever going to delete my column.
Beloved_x_Eyes answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 6:35 pm: Hey, I totally know how you feel. I used to have the stupidest name ever. I was 13 at the time or whatever. It was x3Michelle04x3. 2004! K? So I shut down that site even though I had like a 4.90 or 5 or somewhere high around there. All you do is instead of SHUT down the whole column, erase all the info about you and put I MOVED TO: _____ and your new advicenators name. Thats basically what I did. And I liked starting fresh. New me, New column. Because theres no way to change your name and have the same column. [ Beloved_x_Eyes's advice column | Ask Beloved_x_Eyes A Question ]
Mackenzie answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 6:34 pm: The only way to change your username would be registering for a Paid Account. And actually, that wouldn't be such a bad deal. It's only ten dollars for 12 months. If you're pretty serious about Advicenators, then I believe the benefits are worth the pay. If that's something you can't work out, then I suggest just going with want you really want. I say "XSugarpieX77" is just a name, and you obviously know this website isn't about that. You've answered 695 questions, so I'm sure you know this by now. However, if it's just keeping you up at night, then go ahead and do it? The only thing worse than answering 695 questions and not liking your user name is answering 1,395 questions and not liking your username! [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]

ONExWiSH answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 3:28 pm: Make a whole new name and start over. It will give you a fresh start to do better and with a more mature name, the more visitors you'll have. [ ONExWiSH's advice column | Ask ONExWiSH A Question ]

You can change your user name if you have a paied account, but if you dont, then you can always get one, or you can make a new account. but hey, if you are good at giving advice,it doesnt matter what your name is. and if you make a new name, then you will have no problem with getting a good raiting again!!
ThugGirl041790 answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 1:54 pm: You have answered alot of questions i wouldn`t start a new account.. You can only change your name thingy if you have a paid account which is ten dollars a year.. So its not that expensive.. But if you don`t get on often then you might be blowing your money.. ♥ Dez [ ThugGirl041790's advice column | Ask ThugGirl041790 A Question ]
Karen answered Tuesday January 3 2006, 1:40 pm: You shouldn't start over, just because you think your username is corny. Why don't you think about getting a paid account? It's the only way to change your name on here. Contributing $10 for one year is a pretty good deal to have a paid account.
