I've recently swithced types of music from gheotto to rock/emo/ skater. I'm a girl and I was wondering how I could dress skater. And what kind of make-up to use maybe some pictures. I dont want to look goth just ummmmm... punk I quess.
So how can I dress and wear punk make-up? Also what kind of skater shoes should I buy?

you should always have not really tight pants like teh other girls but kinda bigger not to big. have you hair kinda short like shoulder length it looks better for skaters. the shoes umm DC's DVS CIRTUS are good shoes and wear topes that say like hurley but not roxy. and tangtops that are more thicker. and sometimes wear a hat. makeup- make your face look like perfect with powder but then were black eyeliner and purple or blue eye showdow..

People should STFU about being a poser, labels, etc.
-plain colored/band tshirts
-black/green baggy pants
-vans or converse..maybe CHECKERED VANS?
-gloves
-studded belt?
-black noticeable eyeliner.
-smokey eyes... gray/black eyeshadow.

labels are NOT cool. ever. emo, skater, and punk are 3 different things. don't "become" this to fit in. but if you must to feel good about yourself, check out hot topic (they have some "skater" things there and skate shops for the goods. ask the person that works there for makeup stuff...theyll show you. but if all else fails, wear eyeliner. <3

You could NOT be another label and just do whatever. It is pretty lame to go out of your way to look like something.

Exacally what did I do wrong. I wasn't being a smartass like most people on here and why did you give me a 2 anyway. I provided an answer and it was helpful cause CONVERSE is a type of punk/emo shoes. Their basically 'sneakerz'. Duh. If you were going to give me a 2 then you should have given a reason.

Maybe you could wear DC shoes. Maybe even Vans. Umm jeans, and short sleeves shirt over ong sleeve.

okay well 1st im against this whole "chaning your everything because its in thing" but if you want advice for it, i have it. First you need bracelets (accesories are key)funky earings and bags make a whole diffrent outfit. Thermo sweaters and jeans are punky alternitive if you want to make a slow change. Layers are good too, like short sleeve over long sleeve. Urban outfitters has everything but there a bit pricey, vitage clothing stores have great stuff too, for cheaper prices. anything from vans would be good if your just switching and you dont want to be goth at all. their style is amazing.
