isntlifegreat answered Friday November 4 2005, 9:39 pm: 1. start by giving them really bad news like that you're thinking of dropping out of school and moving to Canada. and then the report card wont seem as bad.
2. Cry a lot. They'll feel sorry for you and be all like, "Poor child I think hes learned his lesson."
3. Promise them you'll do better next quarter over and over again. After about a million times they might beleive you. and then you better really do better next quarter!

Just Tell Your Parents that the teacher picks on you and hates you and that you cant help that you dont do good in that subject. Or You could tell them that someone you (REALLY) Hate wont shut up and that kids wont be quiet in that class and they distract (sp?) you.

There is not much to can do.
Before showwing them, you should tell them that you admit that your not working to your potential and you will absolutely promiss that you will try harder next time. && make sure you do!
Good luck && im sure everything will be fine.

devilspawn_666 answered Thursday November 3 2005, 9:42 pm: You can't really avoid getting your head torn off for crappy grades. You should just give your parents the report card and explain to them that you're going to work harder to bring your grades up. Even if this isn't true, just say it. Maybe it can get you a lesser punishment. I wouldn't reccomend hiding the report card if you have the kind of parents that keep up with that kind of thing.. because that's gonna get you grounded until you don't know what freedom's like... brokenagain answered Thursday November 3 2005, 9:13 pm: Well the first thing you can do is say to your parents you know your not doing too well in some subjects and the grades are not the best but you want to do better and are asking for thier help--maybe that will at least show them you want to try to do better but you need thier help-hope i could help [ brokenagain's advice column | Ask brokenagain A Question ]

Before you show them your report card, explain to them that you were under a lot of stress this grading period, and you were not able to completely focus on your schoolwork. Tell them that you didn't fully understand some of the assignments, and need help. Tell them that you made F's in those classes.
Just a warning, they'll probably tear your head off and ground you for a month.
Try to focus on your school work next grading period and if you need help, ask for it. A tutor isn't too hard to come by, your teacher is there to help you, your parents - surely - could help you, and there are online tutors. You need to pay attention, you'll fail 8th grade...
