I cannot find a job anywhere. I'm 14 I live in Pittsburgh, and I can't find any jobs fit for my age in my area. I've searched on this site called teens4hire.com and there is no job for me in my area. If anyine has any information please help. I would really appreciate it.

Most people don't want a 14 year old employee. It will be hard to get a job at a restaurant or ice cream place or something like that. See if you can babysit, mow your neighbors' lawns or paint their fences or go on errends for them!

ok well i like this guy, lets call him "Jamie". And then my other friend "Emilia" likes him too. and well she liked him first and never said 2 words to him (the only time he talked to her was when i told him to (this was when i didn't like him)). it was just a crush, but then i got to know him and now i like him but i don't want to tell "emilia" because im afraid she'll get mad at me or think that i only like him because she does, which is of course crazy. anyway some of my friends "Libby,richard, marie, elizabeth and katy" are starting to guess that i like him and yesterday they figured out that i like him and now im afraid that they will say something at school and "emilia" will over hear it. i also found out from "richard" that "Jamie" is going to ask out "Tasha" when he gets his braces off. which now i can't stand her. my friend "Richard" told me not to get jelous and stuff. and to make things worse, "elizabeth" thinks that "richard" likes me.
So should i tell "emilia" that i like "jamie" or should i just stop likeing him because he likes "tasha"?
And... if "richard" likes me, how can i tell him i dont like him?

Wow. That is a toughie, and all the names are very confusing. Haha. Anyway, let's deal with one problem at a time. If you and Emila both like the same guy, and you are POSITIVE that she really does like him, and she liked him first, then you are aloud to go out with him. Like you said, she barely ever talks to him. Ask Jamie if he is going to ask Tasha out, and find out if it is true. If he says no then ask him out right there because it would be a good moment, when you guys are already talking about girlfriends/boyfriends. If Richard likes you, and you ask out Jamie before Richard asks you, then when Richard asks you, you can just say Sorry, but I'm already going out with Jamie.

Hey. i need advice. lol
okay so im in 10th grade and i just met this really cute boi, he has brown hair and it flips out and he skates and hes soooo cute! we started talking and we have alot in common, he flirts me and i flirt back, and for a couple days i thought he liked me, but now that i think about it he is nice to everyone not just me, how do i get him to like me? i dont know if im good enough for him, i mean i dress like everyone else in the school but i just dont fit in, where are some good places to shop other then like american eagle EW to expensive or stupid places like aeropostal or wetseal, any other place?

Im not really sure if Express is expensive, because I don't shop there. But my friend does, and she really likes it there. Sears and Target, and also evem Khoals [spelling?] are great places to shop. This year, I bought all my jeans at JC Penny's and those stores are not expensive. You can find good clothes there too. And they're also good/nice looking. About the guy, maybe you could go for a different apporach. Ask him for his screen name [AOL, AIM, MSN, YAHOO] any of the four and make sure you have one too. It is really easy to talk to guys over the internet, I do it all the time. He sounds really cute and if he is more towards you instead of the other girls, then there's a clue. But, he might just act that way around every girl, like you said. He still could be interested but what you have to do first is find out if he is or not.

See if you can find another guy to get your mind off this one. Talk to your friend about the guy and see how she feels. You said you THINK that she likes him so I'd make sure that its 100% true.

EVERYBODY has or will go through this same situation. If they pressure you to smoke, of course say No, and then if they say, "What are you too cool for us?" or something along those lines, then you know that they are not true friends. You should find new friends that do not smoke, and try to predict if your new friends are the kind of people that would smoke later on in their lives.

Hey.. I'm a sophomore in high school, I go to an all girls school in Missouri. I came to high school without any friends from grammar school really.. I had no close friends of which I hung out with. I came into high school and met a ton of people.. but all of freshman year I never went out on a friday night. Now, I just started sophomore year and I'm making a real effort to talk to people and try to make friends but it's not working. I'm in honors classes and it just seems like a lot of the girls in the class are not like me at all. I try to be social and make friends but no one seems to wanna hang out wiht me. I'm also just a totally different person at school than the person I am at home. I am really funny and loud at home and at school I'm quite. I'm shy sometimes too. I think people get the wrong impression of me. I just really want this to work. The girls in my honors classes like where their skirts up really high and are really egotistical and weird..I guess you could say, and the other girls drink, and I don't drink (alcohol). I feel in the middle.Theirs a sophomore dance in february and I want a group of friends by than so that I can meet some guys through them to go to the dance with. I AM SOO STRESSING OUT ABOUT THIS DANCE!!! WHAT AM I GONNA DO?!?!?!?!?! It's really depressing and upsetting. I know that most of you will probably say that I should get to know people, and introduce myself, and I am. I am in class with basically the same girls I was freshman year. If no one could give me advice, and encouraging story would be good. Is there any of you that were in my situation and found a group of friends? please help! (link)

I think that maybe you could just hang out with a group of people at the dance. Instead of going with someone, just catch up with them [some people that you do actually know] and then just jump in and say, 'hey guys! whats up?'
If you don't want to do that, then you could be brave and ask a guy out instead of a group of friends. I'd go with the friends one because I know how hard it is to ask out a guy that you're not even sure likes you to a dance!

I think that since SHE broke up with HIM and not the other way around, that it would be fine for you to go out with him. The girl that he was talking about online was definitly you, so I think that it would be fine if you went out.

hey, i'm a sophomore in high school and i attend an all girls school. I've been at this school since freshman year and it's a really great school. It's great academically and the activities are great, but their's one problem.. and that's the social aspect. I've been thinking about transferring because I really don't fit in at school at all. I am in honors classes and i take an AP class and i've been in class with basically the same girls and i don't fit in with them at all. They are so different from me and i've given them a chance and it doesn't work. I've talked to a lot of people that aren't in my classes that i'm in theatre with, but it isn't working for me. THeirs another school in my area thats a boy/girl school that i coudl transfer to. i don't know if maybe that would be a better option, i could start over and make new freinds .. i just don't know if its worth risking my good academic standings at my current school and the awesome extracurriculars. does anybody have any advice?? i seriously dont know what to do anymore i've been crying all week. it really sucks and it just wears on me not having any friends at school. please please please help... and let me know what you would do in my situations. thanks. any advice is appreciated-- all advice will be rated a 5. If you think that acedemic is more important than social, then I would stay at your school now. You're in your sophmore year now. All you have to do is make it through Jouiner, and Senior year and you're out!
If you believe that social is more important than acedemic, then transfer. If you do transfer, you could still get into good classes, and I'm sure the school would be fine, and you'd make new and good friends.

Take gaurds on your locker the most you can. Ask the school principal if you can change your lock number because she must know it! If he says no, then your last choice is to talk to your friend.
