Peachgirly answered Sunday September 18 2005, 7:55 pm: You should apply a cold compress until the area returns to it's original state. There are many things that you can do to reduce the puffiness under your eyes.
1. get a bowl of cold water and put in some ice. Then, get a washcloth, soak it in the bowl of water and put the washcloth over your eyes.
2.put a slice of cucumber on your eyes.
3.use two cold tea bags and put them on your eyes.
4.soak cotton wool pads in cold water then place them on your eyes
5.wash your face with cold water [ Peachgirly's advice column | Ask Peachgirly A Question ]

x_mystery answered Sunday September 18 2005, 11:54 am: Wet two tea bags, and hold them on your eyes. That usually seems to work for me, but you may have to switch tea bags every once in a while. Good luck! [ x_mystery's advice column | Ask x_mystery A Question ]
shake answered Sunday September 18 2005, 11:24 am: Puffyness of the eyes has no way to be 'stopped' except by the person affected by the puffyness of the eyes. In other words, stop being a pussie, and you wont have puffy eyes. [ shake's advice column | Ask shake A Question ]
Juicygirl answered Sunday September 18 2005, 11:24 am: Dont you hate it when that happens? What I do is get two cold spoons and put them under each eye and switch when it gets too warm. If it's that bad, put some light toned skin eye concealer, line your bottom eye line (lightly) with a silverish/white eyeliner. If you don't have that, a light eyeshadow will do. Do the smokey effect on your eyelids and people will congratulate you on pulling off the sultry look ;) [ Juicygirl's advice column | Ask Juicygirl A Question ]
LittlePip answered Sunday September 18 2005, 11:21 am: Wet a face towel and fold it so it fits over your eyes. Lie down with the towel for about half an hour. The puffyness should go down some. [ LittlePip's advice column | Ask LittlePip A Question ]
