Just tell him that you dont like him in that way. Guys like it when your honest and just say that you dont like him. They dont get lead on... And they might not bother you that often anymore!

Just let him know that you aren't interested in dating him. Tell him that you are already "talking" to another guy right now that you like. Maybe let him know that you'd just like to be friends. Try just to be as honest as possible so he doesn't think there's a chance and waits on ya. But be nice. =] Good Luck!

younggrandma is absolutely right: You do NOT need to provide him a reason if you don't want to. You don't owe him anything of the sort. If you don't like this guy, a simple "No" will do it. However, there ARE ways of letting him down a BIT more gingerly. However, it really won't matter WHAT you say, because if this guy truly likes you.. he will be hurt no matter WHAT the reason, ya know? Why not be completely honest, and tell him that you're interested in someone else? Or you don't even have to say that necessarily. Just tell him that you're flattered and you appreciate his offer, but you simply do not think of him in the same light. Then remind him that you are telling him no because a one sided relationship is unfair and pointless. I mean, what's the point in giving your heart away to someone who isn't willing to give you theirs, ya know?? If you tell him this, I'm shore he will understand. It's a perfectly appropriate and gentle reply. :]

You just have to be very straight-forward, and explain to him, that you would much rather just be a friend instead of a couple. It may seem hard, but you'll feel better after-words.

Just say "sorry I don't have those sort of feelings for you." He may be sad regardless of what you say, but I guess that's life, and he can't be too hurt if you do it gently.

If you wanna be simple, just say no. But if you wanna do it so you get through to him more, say something like "Well I think it's best for us to be friends right now because I need to straighten some things out and plus I wouldn't want to lose you as a friend."
