gaby09 answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 6:35 pm: if you want to go to like a gym you can lift weights like they have certain weight machines specificalle for your legs and calves. If you want to just stay at home or something...runnign will definitaly keep your legs in shape and you can do like lunges and stuff like that. If you dont like to run try riding your bike. Hope i helped!
VixenDark answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 5:59 pm: Lucky you. Calves are easy to fix. ^^
Cycling will help immensely. Go for short rides often, or long rides less often, your pick. I used to go for 20 mile rides with my dad every month or so.
Playing DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) will help tone your calves and thighs. Check out Stepmania, a free version for your compy.
smiLinLiar7x answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 5:47 pm: i know what you could do..alright this is kind of hard to explain..but i'll try..alright this is what you do:
stand on a platform or some sort of "beam" or raised flooring with your heels hanging off the edge and your toes on the raised part..then you just "hop" so-to-speak on your toes or in other words stand on your "tippy-toes" but don't jump and it kills your calves (hurts them lol) but it REALLY does them good and mine are in pretty good shape i think and those exercises are really good for your calves! if you don't get it..drop one in my inbox and i'll try to help you! if not..my screen name is lilfrankie017!
samXoXsam answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 5:14 pm: i'd say go running alot...or u can do this-- lay down on the ground on your side and lift your leg as high as u can get and do that 20 times then switch sides
sbloemeke answered Wednesday August 24 2005, 4:53 pm: Marching Band. I am in band camp now, and my calves are coming home aching from all the work they do. It's all rolling through your feet and walking backwards on the balls of your feet.
You may want to walk in addition to running, concentrating on getting your heels dug into the ground.
Or, you can just join a marching band. :) [ sbloemeke's advice column | Ask sbloemeke A Question ]
