in cheerleading im finding it really hard to do my jumps. My technique is great, my toes are pointed i land together...etc. I'm also very flexible, but whenever i do my jumps i find it hard to get any height. are there any tips on how to get my legs up higher? (link)

Okay, I'm 13 and i'm 5'0 (yeah im small!) and i weigh about, lets see 60-70 pounds. And I'm very concerned about it. Do you think I'm TERRIBALLY under-weight, or just little low?
And also, I HATE milk, so I dont drink that.
I eat alot of meat.. probally 3 times a week.
I eat ALOT of junk foods... i'd suspect to be fat by now.
I drink alot of soda, if that helps. And water also.
Last time I had a check-up, I was 12, and I weighed about 58 pounds.
And everyone is jellous for some reason that I'm that weight.
So, can I have your advice on how to gain about 10 pounds? I'm really into your advice, I'll read it thougly, completly untill im 100% okay with it and rate it what it deserves!

well i dont think theres really ne thing you can do b/c you have a really fast matablism--idk how to spell that haha---ne way--i would say drink milk b/c if makes you gain weight even if you really dont like it you should drink it...you wont be skinny your whole life soo like dont try to gain weight cuz when you get older you might be fat as a resoult of all the food you eat now

I've known this boy for about a year now and right when I met him I liked him a lot. I've gone out with him 3 times. I ALWAYS think about him. It's so hard not to. And if i hear that he likes another girl a little i cry. He says he likes me but I just heard about the other girl thing. Anyways, I havent SEEN him for 4 months straight. I feel really depressed if i dont talk to him for a long time. If I think about him my heart starts to like pound and when he comes online I get a really cold sweat. i dont think your in love and your not obsessed you just really care about him and really like him alot maybe if he knew that you and him could go out again...you should get someone to tell him you really care and like him alot or you can just tell him urself

So I'm getting my hair cut soon, and I am sooo excited! Right now my hair is almost 3 inches past my shoulders, and I wanna get it cut so that it sits right on my shoulders, with side-swept bangs (similar, but not identical to Kristin on Laguna Beach, and no, I'm not being a dumb wannabe). Do you think that sounds cute? (I'm a natural blonde, and am sooo sick of long hair, I had it for about 4 years.) I know girls will judge another girl on their clothing, but do guys care if your not wearing abercrombie or hollister? (I know I sound very shallow thinking all guys judge on stupid things but its been bothering me) It just doesnt seem right that guys dont need to wear amercrombie but girls seem almost required to or they're pushed out. well i dont think guys care if its hollister or abercrombie they just want you to look nice...guys could care less what store u get it from as long as its hott lol...but its true...well i cant really tell you curly or strait because alot of guys like curly and alot of guys like strait so you really dont have to worrie about your hair weather its curly or strait just leave it how it is

My best friend probably has the worst life i could imagine. Her home life is a wreck, her mother constantly yells and screams and blames her for her family problems. She can't even spend an entire day in her house without getting blamed and screamed at. Her mom has this "disease" which i personally think is just a scapegoat, considering her mom just sits on the couch all day, smokes, watchews tv, and eats. She dosn't work or anything, and when my best friend comes home, she just harrasses her. Caling her a slut, a cunt, bitch, anything.
Her younger brother gets everything he wants, and i hate to tell her this, but he sells drugs, hangs out with the worst crowd ever, and yet her family idolizes it. the only two that ever notice his bad habbits are her and i, her family thinks he's just a fine kid. and they spoil him to death.
her house is aweful, her father always works and it's just a disaster. her mom never cleans up, her brother makes messes and my best friend is left to cope with it. it's no wonder why she's always leaving and getting outof the house .. she's basically lives at my house.
last week her mother beat her (her mom was drunk) and she kicked her out of her house. she drove over to my house, and stayed the night. the next day cops were here saying that she stole her car and had to return home. my mother and her have talked and my mom really wishes to have her live with us, her home life is just aweful. but her parents won't allow it.
so much more happens to her that i just can't sum up in this. i feel aweful and don't know what to do for her. no one takes her seriously and im afraid one day she's going to snap. she's the nicest, most prettiuest person i know, and no one would ever expect her to have this life. i;m scared one day it's all going to end, she's going to go down the wrong path or take her life. idk what to do for her. she needs to get out of that house. help her. well i think you should keep inviting her over ALOT have her sleepover ALOT and keep her away from her home as much as you can...if your mom really wants her to live with you go to court...if your mom explains the problem they wont let her live in that house

well i think you should say to her "im moving" then when shes like "no your not" say to her "the other times were just for fun but this time its true" try to cry a little say im gonna miss you soo much if your moving far away and if your not moving far away say im gonna miss this house so much (remember try to cry that will get her to believe you)

Ok well I started school 2 days ago, and already I'm hating it. But not just because of the classes/teachers. I hate it because I don't have many friends in my classes. In 4 out of my 7 classes, there's only 2 ppl I like (my bf and this one girl). The problem is that all the teachers seat us alphabetical order, and my last name isn't close to my bf or friend. So, basically I'm sitting by people I'm not really friends with. I have known these people that i'm sitting with for a couple of years, and although i can talk to them, Im not really friends with them. They're ok people and all, it's just I feel left out and lonely sometimes.
My question is- what do I do? I mean, iv'e been trying to make friends with these people and it's not working. Help please!!! (link)

My life really sucks. The guy i like has this really popular and pretty girlfriend. All the people at school make fun of me. I do not have alot of friends. My family doesn't seem like they care for me too much. I even sometimes think of suicide.
At school all of the people make fun of me. I am no dork but people make fun of me the way i dress and just plain make fun of me. On my school lacrosse team people always make fun of me. Not to brag but i am probably the best person on the team and yet there are still people making fun of me of the things i do. On my soccer team some of the girls make fun of me too. I do not have alot of friends either. My dad always bothers me to have someone come over and he asks me the number of people i called and its only about 3 because i really don't have alot of friends to call. My family is always yelling at me to. I try to be nice but then my sister makes some smart remark and then my parents expect me to be nice to her. And they think she is like the perfect angel child that does everything right. My sister even sometimes makes fun of me by saying i have no friends. Suicide is also something i think about and life is something i want to take away because it really sucks. Please add some advice to this column. It would really help. i think you should give her a little space..she knows you like her so let her take it from there after a week or so tell her you like her and want to hang out sometime plan a day and get to know her more...if you keep doing what you doing now she might get a little scared...so just give ehr a little space to think and then i hope you'll be good from there
