britt_any345 answered Sunday August 21 2005, 5:07 pm: yes it takes time to get used to glasses exspecially if you got new lences you have to let you eyes adjust to them try wearing them while watching tv or let your mom and dad give you a eye test try wearing them for a good week and if you cant see out of them go to the eye doctor and tell him/her that you can't see out of them that good that should help and if you have any question you can email me at heather_luvs_u123@yahoo.com or drop something in my inbox
x_pink_x109 answered Saturday August 20 2005, 8:19 pm: Yeah,
you have to get used to them for a while. They may feel weird but that's only because your prescription has changed and you're not used to it.
mooch789 answered Saturday August 20 2005, 6:48 pm: You have to get used to them. In a week, if you're still not used to them, talk to your eye doctor and they'll fix it. Good luck! Hope I helped! [ mooch789's advice column | Ask mooch789 A Question ]
SilentOne answered Friday August 19 2005, 9:29 pm: It sounds like maybe your glasses are the wrong strength. I don't know if you've had glasses before, but if you haven't then it sometimes seems a bit weird having rims around your field of vision, that might be making your eyes bug out for a while.
If you've had glasses before, then the new ones shouldn't be that drastically different, and I'd talk to your optometrist about them, maybe ask them to test you again.
There may be another problem with your glasses. If they're a very strong prescription one way or the other, then you should probably take them off when you're doing something that you could see without them. For example, I see things far off in the distance as blurry without glasses, but I can see up close very easily. If I wear my glasses when I'm doing work up close, it really screws around with my eyes, and I find taking my glasses off strains them a lot less. If you're having that problem, figure out when you should probably take your glasses off (Are they reading glasses or vision glasses? Reading glasses don't need to be worn when you're just walking around, and I think they can deteriorate your eyesight if you do wear them too much for things other than close up stuff).
Courtney answered Friday August 19 2005, 9:06 pm: Sometimes it takes time to get used to your perscription. If it hurts for more than a week, then you should talk to your parents and then talk to your doctor or a counselor. Eyes are very serious so don't hesitate about things like this . sunnyville answered Friday August 19 2005, 8:39 pm: You do have to get used to it like have it for at least a year or two. What you could do is tell the person who sold you the glasses to change them but if it's still the same issue then my advice to you is to go to the eye doctor to give you an eye examination to tell you what kind of glasses you need for your eyesight. azngemini answered Friday August 19 2005, 8:12 pm: umm.. i think you should talk to your eye doctor(whatever they're called.. lol) about your lenses because i think it's wrong. when i first wore my glasses, my vision became so much more clear and i could see a lot better. so if you can't really see with your glasses, you should go back to the place you got it at and change the lenses [ azngemini's advice column | Ask azngemini A Question ]

At least thats how it was for me....I wouls talk to your optomitrist(sp) or parents about that though.Well I really hope this helps ♥ Torance [ DonutHolez567's advice column | Ask DonutHolez567 A Question ]
