Alexandria answered Monday August 15 2005, 9:57 pm: first off. I dont think you should be running that much! Maybe you could find a way to talk to your coach about not haveing to run as much! tell him/her about how this effects you! Maybe he/she will understand. If they dont understand you could take a bottle of gatorade with you while you r running! I hope this helps you. I feel for you i used to cheer! thx for writing!
VainTaraLynn answered Monday August 15 2005, 9:15 pm: Practice running when your at home. You may be skinny and athletic and everything, but you need to build up your endurance to enable you to run more often. As tiring as it is, when your home or at a friends house go running alot more than what you do at cheer practice. That way when your warming up at cheerleading practice, youll be able to run without stopping because you will have high endurance =) [ VainTaraLynn's advice column | Ask VainTaraLynn A Question ]

dazed_and_confused_alot answered Monday August 15 2005, 5:18 pm: well my dear
everyones like that because after running your body needs water and rest but another thing is that running is what's called anerobic excercise and the heat has to pump blood faster and there's not as much oxygen going to the heart this isn't bad so don't get worried but eventually probably by the end of the year running wont' be a problem and you won't be as tired

xO_thAtS_hOTt_Ox answered Monday August 15 2005, 2:29 pm: heyy! well this year i had to run a LOT in gym, and here are some tips that i used. if they helped me, they should help you!
-dont start too hard. for example, start off with a light jog, then start running a little bit harder as time goes on. dont waste your energy by running as hard as you can, youll get worn out fast! keep a good pace!
-breathe in through your nose, and out through your mouth
-if you get worn out and need to slow down, just go back to a light jog..once you feel refreshed, start running a little harder again
-drink water!!
-wear light clothing. in the winter, if your breath gets shorter (cause its colder) breathe into your shirt
-remember to stretch and warm up before and after you run
always remember, dont push yourself too hard! you dont want to end up fainting or anything. if youre having trouble, talk to your coach.
also, remember that practice makes perfect! in your free time, take a light jog or run. time yourself in your neighborhood running a certain course, then time yourself again and try to beat your time. if you run in your free time, you wont feel bad if you have to stop or something.
bsktballchick45 answered Monday August 15 2005, 2:00 pm: Bend your arms and keep them moving as you are running. Take deep breathes in your nose then out your mouth. Strech before you start running. Don't run full out at the beginning, start jogging at a nice pace. Are you being timed? Do you have to be done at a certain time? If not then don't run full out the whole time; run at your own pace and not with your friends. Like if they are running faster than you can, don't run with them, or vice versa. Don't sprint the whole time.
DancinCutie08 answered Monday August 15 2005, 1:37 pm: the only real good way is to keep getting better is just to run more. try running around your block every morning or something to build up your endurance. also drink alot of water before you but not so much that you get a cramp from it [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
