Maybe when you leave your room to go to the bathroom, turn on your light so you'll be able to see your way back. If it were me, I'd be scared to sleep in the bathtub! Good luck! Hope I helped!

i have the same problem except i don't sleep in the bathtub.there's this really creepy hitch-hiker who walks around my house. my house has a light in the hallway. if you have a dog then wake him up before you go to the bathroom. also maybe you could go to bed before your parents. it always helps me because even though i know that no one will come into my house with a growling German Shepard right behind the front door i always have a good feeling when my parents are awake to protect me.

try leaving all the lights on..in the hallway, your room and carry a flashlight. Or even a knife if you must...*

Aw, this might help. Talk to your parents and see if its alright to leave the light on all night. If your able to get up and walk to the bathroom, your able to walk back just fine. If its a really big problem then havhe your parents buy you a flashlight so you can shine that on places that you think are scary. =)

hmm here's an idea. go to the bathroom RIGHT before you go to bed. like make sure you wait so you really gotta go, and then go before you go to bed. it might stop you from going to the bathroom. if not, then turn on all the lights and go fast. do you have dogs er anything? because we have really noisy dogs that bark a lot. i'm sure if someone was in your house you'd hear him/her come in. don't worry about it. stay strong.

-hope that helped!

i have an idea, when you go to leave your bathroom shut your eyes and tell yourslef that no ones in the house and keep saying it and make your way to your room. and then. everythings ok! orrrr. you could bring a cd player and listen to it while you wak and dont pay attention to anything except the music.

hope i helped
(oh and if you close your eyes and walk into things im sorry, maybe try putting your hands over your eyes and peek through as your walking)

This probably won't answer your question or anything, but you should make sure you're not watching creepy shows before you go to bed. That always freaks me out... Stuff like America's Most Wanted or any kind of movie with crazy serial killers and stuff is a bad idea to watch before you're going to sleep.

Just think of it this way. If you go to the bathroom and nothing happens why not go back calm? Just think it's daytime, but if you can't visualise that just think there are family members in the house with you. If not, you can turn on a radio or somthing to make you focus on the noise, and pretend it's a family member in your house awake, listening to it.

i think you need to take a REALLY deep breath. just run into your room as fast as you can. think about something else while your at it. or sing a song in your head as your running. it helped with my fear of the dark *embarased*. but now im better and i hope it helps you.
