I have to get a physical soon. & my worst fear is shots/ taking blood. Do you think that will have to happen? Gawsh, I hope not. Does anyone know? thanks! xoxo

NO. What they usually do is take your weight, check your height, make sure you don't have anything wrong with you, ect. Nothing to be afraid of. Good luck! Hope I helped!

well a physical is just a docter checking you out. they dont do shots or blood unless they find sumthing rong with u which most likely there isnt.so i wouldnt stress over it.

When you get a physical they usually take your height / weight / blood pressure / heartbeat / eyes / & hearing. I do know before you enter 7th grade you have to get mmr shots and things of that nature, but if your past 7th grade than you should be fine. The only reason they would take blood is if they find something wrong with your health and want to find out what it is, like if your experiancing some sort of problems. Oh yeah they might have you remove your shirt, but im not sure. Anything else, just ask =)

Well, i just went to a physical like a few weeks ago. And i didnt have to take blood. But i did have to have a shot. It's no big deal at all. Dont worry about it. You will only have to do it if you havent gotten the shot you need to have already. But mostly its just like a check up.

Unless there's something wrong, you probably won't need any of that. The worst you'll have to do is pee in a cup. At least that's all i had to do. But then again, i'd rather get shots then figure out how to pee in a cup without getting it all over my hand x.x one disadvantage to being a girl.

well i had to get a physical for cheerleading like a week ago and all they did was they weighed me, they measured how tall i was, they shecked my breathing and stuff, and they did that thing where they hit your knee with a rubber thingy to check your reflexes, and i had to read an eye chart....thats all it only took like 5 minutes lol...

Depends on how old you are.... But usually getting a physical you dont get any shots or blood taking... so calm down... you will be fine..

it depends on what shots you already got yet. usually they don't give you any at physicals, but if you're missing them, they will since you're there already. don't worry about it.

no you wont get shots unless your missing something and since your already there he'll give it to you. i think it only goes for family doctors tho. i got my booster shot the day i got my physical cuz i needed it in the next 3 months so he took advantage of the fact that i was alreay there. for shots...im a whimp and really it not that bad if you distract yourself and relax...i was texting my friend when they gave me the shot. so yeah i doubt youll get a shot but if you do end up with it, dont freak out, its OK i promise! <3

you wont get shots unless your specifically getting blood work done, a normal physical is things like hieght weight, blood preasure, simple non painfull things =)

It depends on what you are getting the physical for. Since I have worked in doctors office before I can tell you this much....
If you are going for a sports/cheerleader physical more than likely you will not get a shot. They will get your weight, blood pressure, Listen to your heart and lungs, things like that.
The only reason they would give you a shot would be if you needed a booster of some kind. Unless you are having a problem of some kind, they probably will let you keep all your blood. :)
