cheerPrincess11 answered Thursday August 11 2005, 5:23 pm: I honestly don't think that age difference is to much. I know a lot of people with boyfriends that are like 4 or 5 years younger. If you two really care for each other then it shouldn't even matter. Tell this guy that you like him say " you know i think that we should go out I think your cool and the age difference doesnt matter much. Have fun and hopefully he say yes. Good luck!

Advicewiz<3 answered Wednesday August 10 2005, 11:44 am: It's not illegal to date him, it's just illegal to sleep with him (that's satatory rape). But I say yes, if you like him date him! I reccomend talking it over with your parents though. Good luck!

xHC0Barbi3x answered Wednesday August 10 2005, 4:57 am: Hey! I think you still should go out with him. If you guys love and care about eachother, then why not? I dont think 3 years is that bad. But if things seem awkward then maybe you should stay friends. G00D LUCK ! ♥ Lauren [ xHC0Barbi3x's advice column | Ask xHC0Barbi3x A Question ]

MissMarie answered Wednesday August 10 2005, 1:41 am: Whoa. That is just like me and my boyfriend he's 19 going on 20 in a few months and i just turned 17 2 monthes ago. Yeah it's jailbate but only if your parents press charges. So hopefully he gets along with your parents or trys to stay on their good side until your 18. karenR answered Wednesday August 10 2005, 1:10 am: Well he probably doesn't want to get in trouble, and you probably don't want him to either. Since I don't know where you are I will send you a link to a chart I found. In a lot of states the age of consent (meaning you're not jailbait) is 16. Heres the link and hope you are in a state that makes it okay! :)
Teza answered Tuesday August 9 2005, 11:56 pm: 3 years is defenetlly not a big difference. You have nothing to loose so just for it. It he treats you right and you both care about each other then thats perfect. But see there is a little problem. Its kind of illegal. I mean hes almost 19 and you're going to be 16. I dont think its wrong but its just the stupid law. Anyways.. good luck! [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
AdivceJack answered Tuesday August 9 2005, 11:38 pm: It all depends on where you live. But I don't tihnk just dating someone is jailbate. If you have sex though, it would be considered jailbate. But if its just kissing and stuff, you should be okay. If you really like him I say go for it! {Never miss an oppurtunity to date someone you like!) Hope I helped. Jack. iRReSiStAbLex09 answered Tuesday August 9 2005, 11:16 pm: hey...
...I totally think that you should date him!!!! I like someone that's 3 years older than me and he likes me back and treats me so0o0o0o0o good. I'm 14 and he's 17. You should totally date him because age is nothing but a number baby! If you like someone as much as you like him you should never let them go. It's great that he treats you good...it just shows that he would be a great bf. Don't suffer of a broken heart just because of you're age difference. I mean some people are like 5 years apart in their age and they still love each other no matter what. Stick with him no matter what if he's so good to you. Lots of luck and love...- Melisa [ iRReSiStAbLex09's advice column | Ask iRReSiStAbLex09 A Question ]

dasweetness2603 answered Tuesday August 9 2005, 11:13 pm: Hey Sweety..sup? Well I went through the same experience that you are going through right now. Honestly I think that once guys turn 18 all they want is sex and they have higher expectations in girls. I know that you think he treats you really well but any guy would treat a pretty girl well right?? Anyways the other thing to consider is if you guys decide to have sex and your parents find out somehow is he going to be going to jail?? I mean if you ask your parents if you could date him and they agree to the whole thing than date him..I mean you have nothing to lose. But if your parents tell you that you shouldn't go out w. him than DON'T because he'll wind up in prison sooner or later> Hope I helped xo> Rate me~~ [ dasweetness2603's advice column | Ask dasweetness2603 A Question ]
