Aeries answered Wednesday July 27 2005, 6:12 am: hey there, i dont have major acne, but i noticed it'd started coming up on my face, if you can get to the docs they can give you some drugs for them, you take one, or two twice a day, depends how bad it is, they may also give you some creame, this will dry up your skin, as acne is caused by producing so much of something just under the skin, this controlls it, afeter about 3 months, you will eriously be perfect and it wouldnt bother you again, but i stayed on mine because, hey why not? the downside is, if you are on the pill, this drug will stop the pill from working, ask your docs dude, an u'll be lookin beautiful soon enough xxx

lildanceQT1 answered Tuesday July 26 2005, 9:38 am: there is a really good brand of cne products called clean and clear. You can get them at almost any drug sotre supermarket or convience store. Clean and clear has a bunch of acne products, thats what they specialize in you can get wipes, spritzes, sticks to rub over your acne, and I think they even have some makeup like foundation that hides you acne and recovers it. Let me no if this help most of these products range anywhere from $5-10$ maybe less depending on what store you go to.
Good luck!

spacefem answered Tuesday July 26 2005, 8:05 am: I've found that random combinations of products work best, which I know sounds crazy, but it's true.
Get something with benzoyl peroxide in it (available everywhere, for $4 a tube or so) for your problem areas, and after that just be sure to wash your face at least twice a day. I use clarifying soap (like neutrogena), antibacterial soap (like dial), moisturizing soap (like dove), whatever I feel like. Then I use a toner with salicylic acid.
You might also try the more natural route, if you live near a health food or organic store. Witch hazel does wonders for acne and it won't dry your face out too bad.
Just don't order some random product off TV, because all of those stop working after a short period of time, and they're horribly expensive. [ spacefem's advice column | Ask spacefem A Question ]
azngemini answered Monday July 25 2005, 9:36 pm: maybe you should try clearasil ultra. the spot treatment they have works really well for me and even my mom. my friend used acnefree, and she says that it really helped her out.
you can buy these at drug stores like cvs, or duane reade, or rite aid, and even target and walmart, and they're not very expensive either.
also, my other friend told me that if you use the juice from an aloe vera plant, and spread it all over your face, and let dry, then wash it off with water, it'll help your complexion. I dont know if it works, but you can give it a try
Squirrel_on_fire13 answered Monday July 25 2005, 9:04 pm: I use Proactiv, it works wonderfully, my mom ordered it, 1-800-950-4695 or Proactiv.com it's 39.95 kindda pricey, but it's WONDERFUL! the 39.95 is for all 3 formulas, each seprate formula is 12.95.

devilspawn_666 answered Monday July 25 2005, 8:07 pm: I use just regular soap and water to wash my face around three times a day. Ususally after I wash my face I put some rubbing alcohol on a kleenex and wipe that on the spots where I've got breakouts. It's pretty cheap and as long as you don't over-use it, your skin won't dry out too badly. [ devilspawn_666's advice column | Ask devilspawn_666 A Question ]
summerxbaybee answered Monday July 25 2005, 7:46 pm: Ahh I had such a similar problem, one day I woke up and I screamed! haha, well I experimented with a LOT of 'face-creams' These worked for me : "Neutrogena Acne & Oil wash" << Similar to that. also some "Clean and Clear(cream)" in a blue & Green bottle worked the best for me. You can find these around any pharmacy, Target even, I'm not sure about meijers or walmart, I know you can purchase it at Krogers though.
