there are lots more brands just go to the grocery store or a drugstore (cvs, walgreens) and maybe you could ask someone there

I use TX Curl Booster and GOT2B Curling spray. You can get these at Wal-Mart and are only about 2 dollars and they tighten lifeless locks and create lavish curls. I found out they're more effective if you use it when your hair is wet! I don't use moose because curling spray is just simpler and easier.

I hear Trezemay (sp) is a good choice for the curly/wavy look that you're looking for.

I use "Frisky" gel by the Catwalk brand, right after I get out of the shower, and it works amazingly well. Its about 14 dollars a bottle, but well worth it.

LA Looks makes INCREDIBLE sports gel. It has a really strong hold so your hair won't frizz at all. They have different levels of strongness depending on your hair texture. Good luck!

I use a scrunching spray by Aussie and it works great. Any product by Aussie will pretty much scrunch your hair. You can choose from different strengths of gels but I use the normal type and it holds my waves.
