FlapJack715Helper answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 8:10 pm: Any ceramic straighteners won't damage your hair as much but there is a new straightener that straightens your hair when it is wet so i would recommend that one but it is a little more expensive than the ceramic straighteners but it is better and worth it. ballerina04 answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 3:36 pm: Straightening your hair will of course damage it. The best types of straighteners to get are ceramic ones with gold plates. I use a Revlon straightener, and I personally like it very much, and my friends would agree. It was around $20 at Wal-Mart. [ ballerina04's advice column | Ask ballerina04 A Question ]
Teza answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 3:25 pm: All straightener will damage your hair at least just a little since its heat. I have a Curlmaster Ceramic. Its the best. It doesnt really curl the hair but thats what its called. Its about 34-40 and it works really good! ♥// [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

xokaylao2 answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 2:52 pm: Hey,
I hate to break it to you but there isnt a specific brand of straightener that WONT damage your hair. Straightening your hair is basically burning it. Its not healthy at all. Of course that doesnt stop me from straightening mine but yeah...you can use products to protect your hair though. Pantene has special conditioners to protect your hair from heat. There's tons of brands out there to protect your hair. Just go to your local salon and ask about conditioners/products that protect your hair.
**much love**

DaysGoBy answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 2:50 pm: Get a ceramic hair straightener! They're the best.. Do NOT get the metal ones, they will just fry your hair. Ceramic straighteners range anywhere from $20-$200+ I say get one that's around $40... If you have a Sally's near you, look there first. But You can get them anywhere beauty supplies are sold.
