well i want to go to the movies with a friend of mine, but its a girl. how do i ask a girl to go somewhere (without having a group)without it sounding like a date?

It's not as big of a deal you'Re making it out to be, honest. I think the pRoblem is you'Re thinking about it too much. Chances aRe, the thought that it could be a date won't even OCCUR to heR!!! I know *I* wouldn't eveR think as an inivation to the movies with a female as a date, whetheR she weRe heteRo sexual oR OTHERWISE, ya know??
Just tRy calling heR up, and act all hypeR and cuh-RRazziieeee.. and say something like..
"HEY!!!!!!!!! What are you doing this weekend!?!?!?!?!!" She'll Respond, and you say:
"WANNA GO TO THE MOVIES!!?!"

I can see how she might get confused about it.
Maybe you should just tell her straight out that you would really like to see a movie with her because you consider her a good friend. But tell her you really aren't ready to call it a date or anything. So, if you are willing to go as a friend only I would really like to take you with me.

Alright man, i have been in the situation many a times. What you want to do is play it off as a joke if you can. You could just straight out say "hey im bored lets go somewhere" or you could compliment her and tell her that it be great to just go hang out with her. If you want to be nothing but a friend with her...then a girl will sense that. Just jokingly be like " alright you ARE coming with me to the movies. No ifs ands or buts about it...NOW LETS BOUNCE!" if you like to joke around that should work for ya. Girls hate when guys seem desperate...but if your not nervous about it and you just treat her like a guy friend and call her dude or man it will be all good. Dont worry so much about it.. JUST DO IT! lol hope it works bro.
