We just moved from Oregon to California and we have all this winter clothes. I think we are haivng a garage sale next week. The problem is, I don't know how to price my items! They may be used, but they are in excellent condition. We have many different brands from gap to abercrombie to bcbg! How should I price my clothes??-I paid good money for it!
Teza answered Tuesday May 24 2005, 4:12 pm: For the Abercrombie stuff maybe 15 or 10. Make sure you just make it a little less then the acual price. ♥ [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
MHScutie87 answered Monday May 23 2005, 10:35 pm: You should prob. only expect 1/10 of what you paid- nobody will pay over $5 dollars usually for something thats already been worn
good luck- [ MHScutie87's advice column | Ask MHScutie87 A Question ]

I go to yard sales every weekend and I'm an expert at it..hehe :) I usually get abercrombie t-shirts for $1..I know it doesnt seem like a lot but thats really how much people pay..Of course, If it has a tag on it..It could be worth about $5.If you have pictures of the items you are unsure of or can give a better description..Message me, because I know how much people are willing to pay.

charmed3fanatic answered Sunday May 22 2005, 6:20 pm: you gotta realise it is a garage sale and people aren't going to want to pay high.. if i were you try to estamate how much you payed for it in the begining see that it is still just like it was when you got it and make them pay like 50% of what you paid for it... plus ... they might bargain with you like they may say " i will take it for _____ much" so usually you don't really have to price much... ! voicesofangels2k answered Sunday May 22 2005, 6:17 pm: for a garage sale, I wouldn't make things too pricey. A suggestion that may work for you is even though they are in excellent condition, but well used, take 75% or so off of what you paid originally. mapetiteodette answered Sunday May 22 2005, 5:58 pm: If you have a record of what you paid for them, then charge the same price if they are in excellent condition. If you don't know, get someone to help you judge what they think they are worth, like your parents and your close friends. Sometimes though, if you are holding a winter clothes garage sale in California, you may not get much of a response because of the weather. If you are trying with the clothes at the same price you paid for them, try slowly decreasing the price, or a better idea- try selling them on EBay. EBay is connected to the whole internet, and if California is having a hot day, some person from Alaska on EBay would really like those winter clothes of yours!
