Okay so I met this guy (we are both 16) and we hit it off. spent like 10 hours together he was totally flirting holding hands cuddling and he would just stare at me and would always sit next to me and he tried to kiss me and such.. (it was a church retreat. We were helpers lol for the little kids) so at the end of the night when its time to leave and we are right next to each other in the seat but my friend is between us and he got up and kept looking back at me and then he just left no good bye and didn’t ask for a number or anything! what does that mean? What happened?

SimpleSoupOfSilence answered Wednesday May 18 2005, 12:00 am: Well, I can tell you this: When -any- guy is with a gorgeous girl, which I can only hint at the possabilities, he was probably nervous. Maybe he just got frightened and somehow goes into a paralyzed phase, normal, in which he inturn meant that asking for a number or speaking, as a matter of fact, might have shot his nerves dead and eventually a coma and so on and so forth. Take it as a compliment...if this is the case.
At least, this is how I take it. Just get in touch with him. Hope for the best. ^.^
S_C answered Tuesday May 17 2005, 9:30 pm: Well I can't exactly speak for him, but maybe he used you. I mean for all you know he has a girlfriend back home... which I guess isn't that far from you.
Ummm, maybe somehow you gave off a bad vibe, I mean it's not your fault as to what happened. Maybe he was nervous, you said he looked back at you, but never said goodbye. Maybe he didn't want to say goodbye. Goodbye means forever, you never want to say forever. Maybe somehow he thought you didn't like him.
Sorry I'm not much help, I can usually give pretty good advice on love life and stuff, but this really stumps me. I'm probably as confused as you on this one. Well if you ever see him, ask him what happened. Ask him if he used you, ask him if he had a girlfriend you reminded him of (though it's not an excuse) ask him what happened. He's the only person you can get the real honest to goodness answer from. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
Jess5764 answered Tuesday May 17 2005, 7:56 pm: Maybe he was too scared to ask you for your number or he didn't wanna ask you in front of your friend, and maybe the reason he kept looking back at you is because he wanted you to ask him for his number or he wanted to say something. Its hard to say since i wasn't there lol but it sounds like he likes you, so since y'all were at the same church retreat he probobly goes to your church so maybe you'll see him there. XoxBroKeNxoX answered Tuesday May 17 2005, 7:30 pm: This could mean alot of things. I think your friend who was sitting in the middle of you two made him nervous maybe, and he didnt want to say anything to you in front of your friend. He could have gotten upset that you didnt say goodbye to him :well im not sure if you did or not: but that could have made him upset. I'm sorry that it didnt work out, maybe if theres another church retreat you'll see him again. Well, if he didnt even want to say bye to you he might have not been worth it. Well..good luck in the future!! <3connie [ XoxBroKeNxoX's advice column | Ask XoxBroKeNxoX A Question ]
OrangeChikn answered Tuesday May 17 2005, 7:23 pm: I'm not sure what happened, and I'm sorry I can't help you. It kind of sounds to me though like he wanted to say something to you, but maybe was just to shy to do it? [ OrangeChikn's advice column | Ask OrangeChikn A Question ]
lilangelshan08 answered Tuesday May 17 2005, 7:09 pm: sounds like this was just a one time thing, he might have thought that this was just a, what's called "camp fling", or he could just be a dog, who knows. it seems to me that you're better off without him, you can get a guy who will be nicer than that. if you happen to see him again then don't approach him first, it'll make you seem desperate and he'll in total control. he'll realize what a jack ass he is and hate himself while you'll be moved on to a better guy [ lilangelshan08's advice column | Ask lilangelshan08 A Question ]
xdesireex0 answered Tuesday May 17 2005, 7:09 pm: I know what you are feeling because the same thing happened to me. I personally think that he was just trying to get some attention from someone. As bad as it may sound, he might have been trying to take advantage of you. When I was in that position, i saw him at school and he acted like he never saw me before, but know he like tells one of my friends that i like him or something. I just pretend i don't know him. lol. he doesn't deserve my breath. Just forget about him. The faster you do the faster you can get on with your life and find someone new that will truly like you and not just try to get whatever he wanted. I HOPE I HELPED!!!!! plz, rate. Give me feed back on wat u think.

Daisy answered Tuesday May 17 2005, 3:11 am: He really fancies you! But because it was your friend sitting in between you he probably felt a bit harsh asking them to leave you alone for a bit. I think he was looking back in the hope that you would go over to him to say goodbye. Perhaps because you didn't he doesn't think you feel as strongly as he does. Will you see him again? Is there any way you can get his number? If you can get his number than send a text just saying it was good to see him the other day and sorry you didn't get a chance to say goodbye properly. Suggest you two meet up again and hit it off from there. He definitely likes you but I think the ball is in your court to make the next move and let him know you feel the same way.Good luck! Let me know how it goes!! And hope i have been of some help [ Daisy's advice column | Ask Daisy A Question ]
MyPainIsReal answered Monday May 16 2005, 7:22 pm: It's hard to tell, guys can be confusing and misleading. He could have just been looking for a good time for a day and then that was it, or he could have just not asked since your friend was between you. Seeings he kept looking back at you. He probably didn't want to come ask you and be rude with your friend there, or maybe he was just too shy. It's really hard to tell why he didn't. It seems as though he fancys you. Are you going to see this boy again? You really should try to get in to contact with him and ask him what is going on and if he had a good time and such. You can never be sure unless you get the reassurance. Because I don't understand why he'd be so sweet to you, looking back at you, and not like you in the slightest bit. Really, get in touch with him. That's all I can say. That's a really tough thing to answer. I can't give you a straight answer, because this boy didn't give you clear signs at all in his actions of not asking for a number, or saying he had a good time or anything. Good luck, let me know how it goes in feedback, and if you need anything else, let me know. Xo [ MyPainIsReal's advice column | Ask MyPainIsReal A Question ]
charmed3fanatic answered Monday May 16 2005, 6:49 pm: maybe he was too nervous to ask... but if he was kissing you etc. i don't know why he would be all nervous... Maybe he didn't want your friend to hear because he would feel like a retart lol... i doubt that it is because he didn't like you because why would he act that way towards you and not like you... ? if he kept looking back at you he was deffidently still thinking about you and such... so maybe he was just too nervous or didn't want to make a fool out of himself... those are my maybe's etc. lol hope they helped you figure out what it was!
