Ashley1 answered Thursday May 12 2005, 5:28 pm: I got my hair professionally dyed about two years ago. The color faded out in just a few months. That's what it will likely do with someone who has black hair. Still I'd say leave the job to a professional. [ Ashley1's advice column | Ask Ashley1 A Question ]

Van_10 answered Wednesday May 11 2005, 4:46 pm: colouring hair can damage your hair's health so its better to use a quality brand like loreal, if you have sensitive scalp try using hair dyes that contain herbal solutions, which gives you that just salon performance, and also mosturises your hair, so it dosent break or look dull a good brand is garnier
Karen answered Wednesday May 11 2005, 4:45 pm: You should get your hair professionally dyed, since your hair is dark and you want to dye it a lighter color. Dying your hair to a lighter color by using a product that you can buy at stores may not even change your hair color at all and the color will fade pretty fast, if you don't use shampoo/conditioner for color treated hair. Even though it costs more to get your hair dyed it a salon, you'll get better results. But if you want to dye your hair by using a product by a brand, then Loreal Paris and Garnier Fructice both of hair dye kits. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
xOxHOLLiSTERxOx answered Wednesday May 11 2005, 4:00 pm: i`d go to a professional at a hair salon to dye your hair cuz that`s what i always do and my hair always comes out good. i wouldn`t use that dye that you buy in a box at a store cuz your hair doesn`t always look like the person`s on the box! i baught that dye in the box before and my natural hair color was dark brown and i wanted blonde highlights like the lady on the box but all my hair turned orange! ♥ [ xOxHOLLiSTERxOx's advice column | Ask xOxHOLLiSTERxOx A Question ]
