MySoftball01 answered Wednesday April 27 2005, 3:15 pm: I think its better in hot water because the hot water can kill any germs or bacteria in your hair that can lead to lice. Plus, Who would want to take a cold shower?? [ MySoftball01's advice column | Ask MySoftball01 A Question ]

ShYbl0nD3 answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 3:58 pm: hot water wares your hair out and ruines it faster with split ends and such. Cold water makes your hair all tangly and not so clean. Warm water is the best. And it cleans it better too. So i would wash it with warm. :)

oneandonly345 answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 3:41 pm: not hot. not cold. warm. hot water is bad because it takes the color out (if you dont have dye it makes your normal hair lighter) and cold water makes your hair tangle, and break. so wash your hair with warm water.

Miss_Lily answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 1:31 pm: I heard that it is better to wash your hair in warm water, and when you are done rinsing out all of the shampoo and conditioner, to re-rinse your hair in cold water. Cold water is said to seal in your hairs natural moisture. [ Miss_Lily's advice column | Ask Miss_Lily A Question ]
Daisy answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 12:34 pm: Washing your hair in hot water is better. You get the circulation going which increases hair growth and also gets the shampoo and conditioner out of your hair better than cold water. If you run cold water over your hair at the end after you've washed it then it will make it shinier. [ Daisy's advice column | Ask Daisy A Question ]
FunnyCide answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 12:17 pm: Hot water is damaging to your hair. It can cause split ends and encourages dull, frizzy hair. Washing your hair in cold water helps your hair to be shiny and more controllable, but cold water is... well, cold! But it's better than having damaged hair.
