It's ok for somethings to be handed to you, as long as you still tryed. if you did try to make the squad then it's not your fault if you make the team. The fact that you feal guilty about it says that you care. Do what you think is best and keep your head up hi.

But, if you truly feel this is being handed to you then you probably have that special skill that us captains look for. Don't feel guilty hun..♥ [ TR0PiCALX3's advice column | Ask TR0PiCALX3 A Question ]
AquamarineRose answered Friday April 15 2005, 11:10 pm: Why should you feel guilty? I am not sure guilt is the word you are searching for. Just about everyone who is trying out is going to make it. You have nothing to feel guilty about. Perhaps you should feel... unjust. Not that I am judging your cheerleading squad. But why should you feel bad about making a squad that 85.71428571% of the girls will be making. (I can round that for you if you wish.) If you are so sure you are going to be making it perhaps you should think otherwise of this commitment. You did mention the rest of your "squad -to be" quite frankly sucks. Sure you might have said it in a nicer way. Come to think of it, maybe you didn't. Maybe you should go for something more competitive. Something that won't make your definition of "guilt" feel like my definition of "unjust." [ AquamarineRose's advice column | Ask AquamarineRose A Question ]

Some people are better than things at others, and you obviously are better than them at cheerleading. They'll find the right thing for themselves eventually. You should be proud of yourself! Be proud how well you're doing!
FunnyCide answered Friday April 15 2005, 9:28 pm: Nah... you worked hard to become as good as you are, and those other girls just need to work a little bit more. It's a good thing that you're sorry for them, but you shouldn't feel guilty. Maybe you could help one of the girls that doesn't make it with her cheers? That make you feel better?

Sure its ok to feel a little bit for the girls who dont make it..but this isnt being handed to you..its not like you have to go agaisnt the best in the country to get on the team..just try out like everyone else and being that your going to make it..just be happy with the fact that your good and thats why you made it ! :)
