mitsugi answered Saturday April 9 2005, 10:30 am: Actually, I think that being a dolphin trainer is a cool profession.. ^___^ *Reminds me of Ian from Survivor Palau*
Anyway, like the others said, I suggest the course of marine biology.. You'd definitely have to do well in subjects like biology and such.. Sometimes, the school looks at your middle school and definitely the high school records, and it wouldn't hurt to be good at the other subjects, too..
Research in the net and the library about the subject will also help. Maybe you'd also like to check out colleges and universities and their tuition costs and stuff, to see if you need to save money or whatever..
As for the author thing, just try to keep on writing. Believe me, sometimes you just feel as if you suck worse and worse, but in reality, you're becoming better, you just don't realize it.. ANd don't quit. IN writing *and a lot of other things*, some part of it will not be easy, but it will just help you develop your skills more. If you want people's opinions, you can either let your friends read, or publish it in the school paper or have other objective people read it..
EJ47 answered Saturday April 9 2005, 10:11 am: If you'd liek to be a dolphin trainer (biggest place for marine biology in central FL is SeaWorld. Theme park on outside, big research facility inside.) You want to be physically fit. Have to be able to swim for hours and hours and hours on end with them! Keep up on your math skills, marine biology would be good to start off with. And do a little research on them, dolphins are adorable :3
grly_tough_chik answered Saturday April 9 2005, 10:07 am: Well since you would like to be a dolphin trainer when you're older, you might want to consider something like a marine biologist. You definitly need to study biology if you want to be a dolphin trainer. If you'd like to be an author, you might want to study literature or even journalism. Hope this helps! allyhoo22 answered Saturday April 9 2005, 10:00 am: Ok welll i dont think a dolphin trainer is funny or wierd at all. I think now because you are still young and might not be that still poistive of it yet you should read up on it, Go to the book store and buy some books that tell you about dolphins or even dolphin trainers. When you get younger I think if you show your mother you are responciable enough and determined she will let you.In school learn about not only animals but see if they have anything about underwater life.
