mom's unaware of me shaving my legs
hi, i just recently turned 13 and im in the 6th grade. my mom doesnt know thati sahve my legs. i've een using her razor for about 2 months. i had to just do it because everyone else was doing it! i was the only one! all the girls stared at me and it was really embarassing. me and my family are going on a cruise very soon and my legs will be showing most of the time. if she notices i dont know what to do. if she says something about it what should i say! i dont wanna say like,"well, i've been using ur razor because everyone else at shools been doing it!" shed hav this grudge. i know this is long but i'll rate. pleeeaaase help me out! i need really goos advice! i dont think i could just talk to her..i have a pretty bad relationship with her. help help!

Dont work about it. I am 13 and ive been shaving for 3 years its not big dea. dont be scared or worry its not like taking drugs its shaving! Its not big dont freak, shave on the cruise, if she finds out, she finds out! she probaly allready knows anyways!

Dont tell her "Everyone else is doing it" that will make her mad just tell her that you are 13 and a time comes when a girl starts shaving. That girls stare at you at school when you wear shorts/skirts/kneeknockers/etc And that you dont like it because they make fun of you!

ask her when you can shave. she will give you an answer and then if you can't start soon, tell her that you're being made fun of or somthing and that you really need to shave.

Just tell her now. Say i'm kinda being made fun of for having hairy legs. A friend gave me a razor so I could shave them, do you think you could maybe get me one of my own. I'm sure she will understand.:)

yea i know what you mean i did like the same thing when i was a little younger than you. and me mom flipped out!!! but once she knows who have started she cant really stop you but maybe if like your at the grociery store alone one day or something like buy your own razor. and then if she finds out its not like you used hers. but your 13 you should be able to shave your legs she probly started when she was 13 or less.

well u dont hav to worry becaause i did the exact sam ething when i was in 6th grade. i would go up to my mom and say ive been shaving my legs because the hair was getting really long and im not sure if im doin it right so could you help me. yea sure they will be mad for a while but at least u got it put in the open. good luck dont worry i did the same thing and said the same thing and my mom was mad for only a littel while.good luck again

I definatley undersand the fact that you cant talk to your mom about your dilema(me and my mom are not that close either)but shaving your legs is a normal thing(almost every girl does) and if your mom sees that you shave believe me it wont be that much of a big problem she might ask you why you started shaving or when you started but it wont be the end of the world trust me you'll be aright...its not worth it to try and hide it from your mom shes gonna find out sooner or later so stop worrying when the time comes that she finds out and she asks you just tell her the truth she'll understand(she's a woman she has to understand cause she shaves doent she?so if she trys to say theres something wrong with it ask her why she does it)you'll be aight...hope i helped

'everyone else is doing it' doesnt count as an excuse. Also, if you are going to shave you should get your own razor.Maybe your mom has a reason of why she wont let you shave. Does it have to do with your culture? Honesty is the best policy...trust me!If she wont let you shave tell her the hair on your legs makes your run slower..lol idn!

I did that too, but since you have a bad relationship with her maybe she hasn't worked up the courage to ask if you wanted to start shaving. So if she asks you about it just say I've been using it because it was embarassing to have hair all over my legs. Since you have to probably do P.E of some sort you can tell her you didn't want to be embarrassed.
