they don't work as well in water. plus having sex in a hot tub can be dangerous because of the water getting in your vagina. so be careful ]
umm..uhhhh...*walks away fast* ]

Condoms will still work fine but if you have sex in hot water and somehow you get pregnant, your baby will come out disabled or something wrong with him/her. I heard that in health class. And also sex in water does not lower the chance of getting pregnant! So yeah dont worry... ]
Why did you even need condoms? You can do sexual things without having actual intercourse. It's more fun that way anyway, because you leave him wanting more. ;) Anyways, condoms are probably waterproof, unless they are the paper ones. ]
I'd think that a condom would still work underwater.... because uh, heh, the condom isn't in the /water/ ;) But if there is spermicide or something on it that might come off underwater. So really a bed, floor, counter, etc would be better. Don't do it if you're not sure... <3 EJ ]
well havin sex in a hot tub is nasty girl and i dont think that they make them for underwater use. and if ur gonna do pplease do it on a bed cause that is like sanitary girl.

Just to let you know having sex in water is dangerous because the water can travel up to the fallopian tubes which can have some pretty bad effects. Don't think I'm joking because I'm being completely serious. Call any sex specialist and they'll tell you!
"The concern would be if you are squirting water into your vagina. Hot tubs always have chemicals, such as chlorine, in the water. If this water enters the vagina under pressure, it could go up into the fallopian tubes, where it becomes lodged. The chemicals can be an irritant, and could cause irritation and potential scarring. This can lead to endometriosis. So, the bottom line is - no pressurized water going up the vagina, including intercourse underwater, since the penis acts as a 'pump' pushing water up into the interior."

they work just the same ]
I did some research on the internet, and here is what I found out:
On condoms in water...
Condoms are processed and tested in aqueous environments, and at temperatures in excess of comfort level for human contact, without damage. If the condom remains on the penis, it will be as safe and effective in the water as in more conventional situations. If for some reason being under water makes the condom come off, or water seep in, of course it cannot do its job. It is important to remember also that some bath oils or similar substances may be harmful to latex.

Condoms are perfectly safe to use in water, whether in the shower or submerged (though I would suggest putting them on before you get in the shower, pool, ocean, submarine ... or whatever). The bigger issue is that having sex in water can be a little tricky because the lubrication (whether natural or synthetic) tends to get rinsed away. If you don't have enough lubrication, the friction can wear down the condom and cause it to break. So what I would recommend is that you explore lubricants that are silicone-based. These lubricants do not rinse away easily from just water, yet are perfectly safe when used with latex.

Condoms made just for water...
No, from my research I found out that there are not condoms made just for water, but that if used properly, regular condoms can be used in water.
I hope this helped you. ]
