sshelbyy answered Friday March 25 2005, 12:03 pm: 1. you can go to your doctor and ask them what you should do.
2. you can buy a BACK ACNE wash and cream and do it everyday! also, watch out for really thick and scratchy fabrics like wool. even though i dont know who would wear wool in march. lol.
how to avoid: breakouts on your back come from wearing tight-fitting clothes, which trap perspiration against your skin. You can avoid it by showering immediately after workouts, exfoliating any oily build-up with a loofah on a regular basis and treating any breakouts with a benzoyl peroxide treatment. Sophie_xxx answered Friday March 25 2005, 11:47 am: Yeah. Clearisil and lots of other brands do great lotions for your back, which you can just get from your local chemist of whatever. They're not that expensive and get to work pretty quick.
Good luck and enjoy the prom!

Missa8305 answered Tuesday March 22 2005, 9:21 pm: If I were you I would run to the nearest dermatologist. My dermatologist perscribles a gel for in the morning, and a cream during the night. I use these alternately on my chest and back, and break-outs always seem to clear up quickly. [ Missa8305's advice column | Ask Missa8305 A Question ]
Karen answered Tuesday March 22 2005, 7:03 pm: To get your back/shoulders cleared up in a month, try using body washes or astrigents that will open up your pores that will then irritate and clear them up. I break out too on my back/shoulders and I just use an acne body wash from Neutrogena and it seems to help a lot. Oxy pads will help get rid of your break outs. If you can, try going tanning some time, since this helps get your back/shoulders to become clear.

cowgirlhottie203 answered Tuesday March 22 2005, 6:03 pm: you could be using a soap or shampoo that irritates the skin on your back. Try a shampoo or soap made of all natural things. I use a lot of those, and the body soap actaully worked better than a bar of soap. i have natural shampoo too, and it works great too! Try some of those, you can usually get them from health food stores and stuff like that.
you could also go tan, you'd be tan, and have no break outs. :) double goodness. I'm not sure why tanning would prevent the break outs, but if it works, do it! [ cowgirlhottie203's advice column | Ask cowgirlhottie203 A Question ]

Might be to cold to go out in the sun, depending on where you are. If those things work for you though that is what i'd stick with. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
LoLo2454 answered Tuesday March 22 2005, 4:55 pm: There is nothing really special like certain creams or anything. But if you just get a loofa or scrub brush and wash your back really well then that should clear it up really well. You would be suprised. Hope I helped and have fun at prom.
