Actually, I don't know what you mean by "technical". In order to get a more constructive answer, point us to your existing webpage and/or a site you would like to more closely resemble.
If you would like tutorials on how to build a better page, or mistakes to avoid, or on something else, please ask. I don't want you to think your being ignored, but I can't understand what your asking for, and I'm guessing most other serious columnists can't either.
