Well, a lot of women were put together during those Witch trial things... I think it started with an "S"? Good luck! ]

Hope these will get you started.Good luck on the project. ]
Well all I can say is you should have started this right away. For now i my self suck at research ,but maybe someone will give you some advise cause i'm fresh out ]
three words. Salem Witch Trials.. Although there was one man put to death.. he was pressed to death with heavy stones.. :/ you'll be able to find plenty about it and if you search google. Also Joan of arc is a good case of a women being put to death.. a very dramatic story and you could contrast both sides of the story, the british, and the french. :) hope you do well, good luck.

I suggest you do a little research on Karla Faye Tucker. She was the first woman given the death sentence in Texas, and if I recall correctly, the whole thing was very controversial and a subject of debate for some time. (Probably even still.) Your teacher will probably recognize the name, if nothing else. (Or maybe I'm thinking that because I learned about her in school, and I actually live in Texas.) ]
If it has to be anything recent, sorry, I can't help you out. However, could you do the witch trials? Joan of Arc? Boadiccea? Henry VIII wives? ]
Joan of Arc? that was the first thing that came to mind. hope that helps. =] ]
