Altazuma answered Friday March 11 2005, 1:51 am: Love notes should do more than say "I love you", they should say why or what it is you love about him or how that love makes you feel. That adds substance to it.'
I'm probably going to get flamed for this one ( I shouldn't blab my secrets), but when I have been really stuck for something to write on a card or letter, I cheat. Jump on the Internet and look up the lyrics of some B-side single of some obscure pop band from the 1950's. Then copy one of the verses of the lyrics. I would usually avoid the chorus as that is more likely to be remembered by someone and usually gets more repetitive. You are bound to get away without it being recognised.

If you're not a poet, you could just change the Roses are Red, Violets are Blue poem into something cute. Whenever you're in a Walgreens or Osco or someplace that has a variety of cards, look over the cards section and write down (bring a writing pad or a notebook and a pen) stuff you like.
KelseyHasTheAnswers answered Thursday March 10 2005, 9:36 pm: start by saying "I have never loved any one the way i love you" and just write all the things you love about this person. if you cant write in paragraphs then make a list. n e thing will make him love you more for it [ KelseyHasTheAnswers's advice column | Ask KelseyHasTheAnswers A Question ]

Silly things like that. Be sweet, be caring, act like your his girlfriend. They're just like any other now, but because they're going to him...they're "love" notes. Nothing complicated. [ CourtneyGlynne's advice column | Ask CourtneyGlynne A Question ]
Kels answered Thursday March 10 2005, 9:21 pm: well, i just write about him. ex" i love how you smell, thanks for alway being there for me, it means so much to me! you are such a sweetie! I love being with you! you are so much fun!"
MummuM answered Thursday March 10 2005, 8:59 pm: In the letter explain to him how much you care and love him. Tell him that you're very happy to be with him and you never want to lose him. Just let your feelings go in this letter and pour your heart out to your boyfriend. Maybe you could write a cute song in there. (One of you and his songs or one that reminds you of him). Or you could write him a poem. You could also tape a picture of you and him on the letter (If you have one). You could even list 50 reasons why this guy makes you smile or why you like him so much and so on.
