Question Posted Saturday February 19 2005, 1:04 pm
Ok, my head hurts really bad. Its not a headache ( I know when I have a headache) and Its kind of a weird feeling, like my head is a melon and everytime I lay down or bend over, my head feels like its goign to fall off. My nose is all stuffy and I have no idea if I am getting sick or what. What do you think this is, the flu? What should I take (over the counter) to help me get better? Thanks

XoXloveMEorLEAVEmeXoX answered Saturday February 19 2005, 7:21 pm: you could either have a sinuses efection or it could be something bigger than that. my friends step-sister got this diease and like it was a diease that made her brain grow and stuff. she was in the hospital for a week or two. she got over it. ask your parents to take you to a doctor.

While mine was more of a high fever than anything else, one of my good friends came down with similar symptoms to what you have.
You should go to the doctor to confirm this (or talk to a pharmacist) but if you do indeed have the flu, which I suspect, then you should try this anti-Viral that really worked for me. It's called TamiFlu and it's supposed to cut the duration of your flu in half. Look it up online in Google or something if you need more information.
Erinn_the_bamf answered Saturday February 19 2005, 1:40 pm: This is some kind of sicknes. You most likely have the a or the flu. I usually get those symptoms when I am sick as well. Try taking some pain killers to ease the pain and take tylonol. You should also try and go to the doctor because this may be an ear infection which needs a perscription. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]
sunkistsarah answered Saturday February 19 2005, 1:29 pm: That definitly souand like a cold or the flu because my head feels like a bowling ball too when i get sick. You should either go to the doctor or start taking some good over-the-counter cold and flu meds. The earlier you start taking meds, perscription or other, the faster it will go away...
hope this helps! [ sunkistsarah's advice column | Ask sunkistsarah A Question ]
TheTeenGirl answered Saturday February 19 2005, 1:23 pm: The symptoms you're having just souds like a cold or maybe the flu, and a good medicine to not feel the symptoms anymore are Day Quil and Ny-Quil. Very good medicines, even the off brand kind gets rid of them. So you should go out and buy it. Get well!!
Karen answered Saturday February 19 2005, 1:19 pm: Your sinuses are probably infected and that causes your head to hurt when you bend over. Yes, you are getting sick, probably just a cold, but you're aren't getting the flu, only if it is going around you can. Try taking DayQuil or NyQuil or any nasal congestion pills. You need to rest because resting helps you get better, especially sleeping. Taking a hot shower will clear up your nose. Hope I helped :)
