THE BEST TEEN AUTHORS EVER ARE:

Zoey Dean (A-List, Girls on Film, Blonde Ambition) they ROCK!!!

Louise Rennison (Angus, Thongs, & Full-Frontal Snogging series) very funny!

I'd suggest Louise Rennison's Georgia Nicolson books - the first one is called Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging. Also, Feeling Sorry for Cecelia is a good book, too, and it's not too long.

You might also try Persepolis, which is a book in comic book format about a girl who lived in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. It takes about an hour to read, and it's funny but poignant.

If you like some fantasy and science fiction, you might also try Sabriel, by Garth Nix. It's a little dark, but it goes pretty quickly despite its size, and it's a good book, too.

In addition, I'd also recommend any of Terry Pratchett's books. They're funny, smart, and easy to read. I'd suggest starting with some of his later books, like Thief of Time, Night Watch and Monstrous Regiment, because they're better than some of his first ones.

Happy reading!

Well if you are a girl then the Gossip Girl series is really good. My friend gave me one to read and i ended up reading the whole series. They might seem a little riscay but you find yourself wanting to keep reading on to find out what happens next. There about girls that live in NYC and there parents let them smoke, dirnk, and have sex. Seems wierd but there lives are so interesting.

To kill a mockingbird... I heard it was boring, but then I read it, and it was SUPER GOOD!
She said Yes.. it was sad true story.
Among the hidden (it's the first book in a series of four)
A child called it...sad true story... and it's like a sequal or like 3 or 4 series book.
Ummm, can't really think of anything else now. Good luck with that, and those books are REALLY good

Any books by Nicholas Sparks are great and I recommend that you should read some. He wrote "The Notebook" and "A Walk to Remember", which were both great movies. Lois Duncan and Lurlene McDaniel have written a lot of books that are good and they aren't long at all. Hope I helped :)
