heyy everyone. ok i was wondering if a guy is 18 years old and your 15 is it illegal to go out as boyfriend and girlfriend? because theres this really hott college guy and i really like him a lot but hes like i cant ask her out because its illegal. thanks yall!

You can date, but if you guys have sex and your parents or something find out and they aren't happy about it, or later you regret it: it could hold up in court as rape. So just be careful, and don't push him, because he's the one that could get in trouble for it.

Well you can "go out" because there's nothing legally or physically binding about that... but he can't have sex with you because that is statutory rape.

I am not too sure on this one. I think it depends on which state you live in. I am almost 17 and my fiance is 18. We have been a couple for almost a year now so I do not look at it as being illegal. You might have to keep the relationship on the down low if the two of you end up together. Please make sure that he is not just trying to get into your pants because you are 15. There are guys who will do that to you because you are younger. If he respects you and cares about the relationship, see if he can go without any sexual activities for a while. That will tell you whether or not he is worth it. Good luck.

Yechnically, it is illegal, and if your parents find out, you could both get charged, and i think that those are felonies, so if I were you, then I wouldn't go out, for legal purposes. I would suggest a friendship though!

Yes and no. I should have put no first so you wouldnt get mad.. anyways the rule is if your 15 you would do half your age pplus 7. Whatever you get is the oldest you can date or do sexual stuff with. It's illegal to go have sex with him but its not illegal to go out with him. Lets say he's like a friend and you juss hang out. Isn't that the same. Also you can hug, kiss, hold hands... but not sexual in bed or couch. or tub lol

Yes, it is illegal, well where I live it is, because if your parents find out about you going out with him, they can bring him to court. If you ever have sex with him (just giving an example), it is considered sagitory rape, since he is an adult and you are a minor. You can still go out with him but you can't do anything and your best bet is to just wait until you are legal. Hope I helped :)
