ok, i'm not ugly, but i'm not exactly beautiful. does anyone know if there's a way to make me look and FEEL prettier? and by "pretty" i dont mean "slutty"
natalie04 answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 10:09 pm: hey, i think that if YOU want to make yourself prettier just try to get some more like "popular" clothes like abercrombie or hollister, and try to wear makeup that makes you look mature not like a slut, like light colors. Only do this if you want to, you don't have to change for anyone else!

MandyBB answered Tuesday February 8 2005, 9:06 pm: I've been there, sweetie, so I'll tell you what helps me. I'm a poor college student, too, so things really don't cost that much. ;)
Being able to look at yourself and say "COOL!" really does help self esteem. So you can...
Hang out with people who don't put you down. Very important.
Start some light exercise if you already don't. Not only will you feel better, you'll be making your body healthier.
Buy a nice new shirt, pants, shoes, or a whole outfit. Find something that makes you feel pretty. Or take some of your old clothes, get crafty and spice them up! Be you!
Get your nails done. It can make you feel like a queen.
A little light makeup is nothing to be ashamed of and doesn't make you a whore. Some light eye shadow can do wonders and can be really quick and easy to wear and put on.
And for a booster, throw in a nice, warm bubble bath. :)

If some dumb guy can't see it now then they won't see it later...
Igotamonopoly answered Tuesday February 8 2005, 8:33 pm: Ya. First of all, do push ups and situps so that you FEEL strong and fit. Also, the brain releases hormones called endorphins that make you happy, and you get these when you work out! Second, choose flattering clothes and hair color. If you have big boobs and you have a big midsection, don't wear tight clothes. If you're thin and petite, then wear tight clothes because they flatter your figure! Bellesono answered Tuesday February 8 2005, 8:28 pm: Dear Beautiful,
You have to feel beautiful within yourself to make you beautiful. The most beautiful girls can have bad self-esteem issues and not believe in their true beauty and could look ugly to others because of their low personality. Pick yourself up from off of the groud and feel confident in yourself. Look in the mirror each morning and say to yourself "I am beautiful". It will make you feel confident throughout the day. You have to have it within yourself first to actually play the part. Your beautiful and you know it. Go and show it off.

Karen answered Tuesday February 8 2005, 8:27 pm: Like what others have said, having confidence in yourself will make you look and will definitely make you feel prettier. A little bit of make up will also help with this. If you just wear eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara, and cover up, that will also help you look and feel prettier. Wearing make up as little as possible is the best way, instead of wearing a lot. Hope I helped :)
