hey! i wanna get my cartilage pierced. i know that straight guys are supposed to get their ears done on the left side. are straight girls supposed to get it on the left side too? thanks!

It shouldn't matter! If you know that you're straight, you're straight! It's up to you and you shouldn't care about that kinda crap because it's pretty stupid if you ask me. So do what you want to do!

Well, just to be safe get it done on the left. If that will make you feel more comfortable. I've never hear of a girl getting picked on because of that but I have seen boys. I don't have my cartilage pierced but if I did I would get it done on the left just incase.

No its doesnt matter that Gay thing doesnt even matter now they only did that left side gay thing in the middel 90's I got mine done too and if your scared it hurts it doesnt its just like a pench lol

im a 14/f.. and mine is done on the left side.. i dont think it really matters. i used to have mine pierced on the right side, but it got infected. hope that helps =)

lol well on your cartilage your actually most likly to get your right pierced first but i have both done and they look cute either ear..it doesn't really matter for girls which side they get done..and also if your scared it will hurt..it doesn't lol its just a pinch but it doesn't hurt! =o) hope I helped

Straight guys would have to get both ears pierced.
In the gay world, a right ear piercing means you're a "top" (the giver) and a left ear piercing means you're the "bottom" (the reciever).
As for girl, I dont think theres any general rule with getting your ears pierced and having it mean that you're gay, or not.

im sorry to say this, but i really think that this is a really stupid question to ask. I have my cartilage pierced on my right side, and never have i heard someone call me gay or lesbian. Even if they do call you gay or something like that, they're obviously not your friends, and the really must not know you very well. You know if you are gay or not, so just don't pay attention to the mean people in life. You shouldn't really care that much about what people think of you!<3 alyssa

I dont think it really matters for girls which ear they pierce, but if you want to be safe, go for the left ear. did you know that if you carry ur wallet in your back right pocket it means ur lesbian. hmmmmm weird.

It really doesn't matter. Now a days, no one really cares because it's just a piercing. I have my cartilage pierced on my left ear but some of my friends have their's pierced on their right ears. It's up to you; you can get your cartilage pierced on which ever ear you want. Hope I helped :)
