out of control.. I have a huge problem..im only 13 and weigh 98 pounds but i love to eat!! When i get home from school i eat like a bag of popcorn, some chips, and a salad just to make myself feel better. I excercise but not like a TON. and im healthy ..so whats wrong? I eat breakfast, then a snack, lunch, then a snack and dinner, then dessert. But, when im bored or sad - i eat. even if im not hungry..how do i stop this eating problem ?? =/

ok... first off all that is so0o0o not fat!!!... ok the other problem is called a binge eating disorder.... your trying to find "comfort in food"... the best way you can try to change this is find something else to do instead of eating when you're bored and upset.... and stop being so0o obsessed about your weight... it's unhealthy and causes unnecessary stress... try to talk to a trusted adult about it.. and what kind of things trigger it.... maybe ur guidance counsiler... ??.. they can help you sort out what causes ur binge eating... and help you come up with ideas on how to stop.. hope i heled=) ]
when you're bored find something else to do quickly so it will immediately take your mind off of food. try to make your snacks and desserts healthy like a bowl of fruits or something like that. ]
It seems like your eating to fill in time or even emotional feelings.What you should do is try to fill the time with something useful like a i don't really play sports but i model and its fun cuz i like food to but i control it and don't let it control me.You should like take up some kind of activity keep your mind occupied with other things!1

its just your body and everyone grows at different rates and times. if you continue eating healthy for your main meals and you can try to cut down your snacks.

Well, eating is no problem! You're a super person if you can be that small and eat that much! But, if you really want to cut down on the food, I suggest you eat larger meals and less snacks. ]
It's just your body. Everyone is different and everyone grows at different rates. Just continue to eat healthy and don't worry about it--you'll grow soon =) ]
excersise that wont make you eat a lot...or do something with your friends so you could do something to get food off your mind ]
Just get involved in lots of activities you enjoy. Or just say..no i dont need anything. or if you go to take more of something just say to yourself no i dont need that. or something like that.

If you really think this will be a problem in the long fun for your health, try cutting back on the snacking. Eat a big breakfast so you won't be hungry until dinner. Or you could always eat a couple of little means instead of eating big ones all at once. That way you have time of burning off what you just ate.

your weight is FINE! the average weight for 13 year olds is 115 anyway! you do not want to go on a diet because that could be dangerous for your weight! if you are conserned find a different habbit to do when you are sad. ]
I dont understand. Are you saying that you are fat? 98 pounds for a 13 year old is below average. The eatin problem is obviously not bad for you if you are healthy and only weigh 98 pounds. You porbably just have a fast metabalism.

first off you arent fat! i am 13 but i weigh like 105 so dont worry u are normal- just as long as it is not all fat lol but remember muscle weighs more than fat- and eating alot at our age is normal cause we can get rid of it! so dont worry hun *_brookie_* ]
