Hey! I didnt know what to put this under so ya..I am going to be 14 on Febuary 23rd and I dont know what to do for my party? anyone have any good suggestions on what we could do to be kept occupied? lol I have a big *green room* aka living room that we could hang out in but i just dont know what we could do? I am in the country but not like farm country and have a nice size backyard! I will rate high if you give party tips!! thx much!! ♥Andrea

personally, because you live out of the city you have less people to annoy. I would get a bunch of your mates round, boys and gals, get loads of junk food and movies. Play your music real loud, chill outside for a while then go in and watch movies all night. hope this helped. x

Well, there is plenty of stuff you can do. You can play Manhunt in your backyard. It's like tag, kind of, but better. One person is it, and everyone else has to find a spot to hide. Then, unlike tag, the first person to get tagged helps the person who is it. The last person tagged is it for the next round. You don't have to set limits, but it makes the game easier.

heyy andrea! haha.. nice name.. yeah.. anywaez.. well... mai frnd kelly lives in tha country and she had a lot of people come over and got a big radio and put it in her bakyard and turned it up and let people dance.. and she set up her basketball coart and let guys do that.. and she had her pool table and stuff and let them do that! so.. just let everyone come over and just hanng!!

Lets see, you could have a sleep over, play games. Idk, nething you want really. Make a theme and do things that go along with theme, like I know my sisters friend had a beach party and they learned the hula. Or, my friend just had a party, and it was jus dancing. They got a Dj and everything and it was fun... My other friend, we went to the mall, watched movies, had a dance competition, talked about ppl from school... Depends on what your into!! If theres snow, snowball fight thing, I dont know how you are but football, basketball, tackle football, always great fun. Hope I helped!! ~*Raven*~

well what I would always do, I had a big back yard also, and i would use the front of myhouse, if your gonna have it around the night time, I would just play hide and go seek in the dark, I know that you might think its kiddish, but im 16 and i still play it with my friends, its so much fun, and even inside your house you could play it :) But also , you could play cops and robbers which is fun too haha, seriously though im being serious, you shouldnt worry like crazy, itll just be fun if you just do something simple , have a dj come maybe and have a dance party or something :) you could like pull a prank on your friends and have a clown come and tell him to make a fool out of everyone...just funny stuff is what makes the party fun :) for my 15th last year, i had balloons...and i put confetti in them and i put them ALL over the ceiling and ALL over the floor and walls and you had to pop the ones on the ceiling with a fork the ones on the wall with your body and the ones on the floor with your butt and its just fun because at the end you have a bunch of confetti everywhere lol its fun!

Since you have a big living room i would make it a dance floor and put misuc and everything, you could also have in the backyard a fire or w/e so people can hang out, or like um..you could play football outdise or something i mean you can do alot of stuff, but i think you should do a dance party cuz dats alot of fun..trust me! anyway..hope its fun:)

For your backyard it would be a good idea to set up large grouped sporting activities ie: volleyball, baseball, soccer, football or basketball. Inside I would set up a music system and an entertainment station (TV, VCR/DVD) and have lots of chairs that are easily removed. After the outdoor activities are done, throw on some good music and dance. When everyone is starting to get tired (1-2 hours into dancing) setup the chairs and watch a few good movies. To make sure that all of your guests will be happy, on your invitations (I recommend invitations heavily) give them 4 movies, 4 types of music and 4 types of food to choose from. Ask them to choose 2 of each column and give them back to you. Take the invitations home and count up the selections. Take the 2 most chosen items from each column and apply those to your party. To liven things up you could also play a game of "Give and Take" (known during the holidays as Bad Santa). Select a theme (stickers, posters, etc) and ask each guest to bring one of the selected items. When everyone is there you count up your guests, write out the numbers (if you have 30 guests you would write out 1-30 individually) put the numbers into a hat and let each person take one number. The person who pulls the number 1 goes last. The person who has 30 goes first and gets to choose one of the items. The next person goes etc. The reason that this game is fun is if someone wants something that someone else has pulled they can take it and the person that they take it from ends up with what that person had (after 2 turns an item is considered dead). Each person can trade only once but can be traded with as much as warrented as long as the 2 turn rule isnt broken. It can turn into a lively time. You can come up with other parlor games like this for variety. Your friends will have a great time and think that you are a great hostess. Have fun at your party. Best Wishes!

at most parties like this, especially if there are a bunch of people there, everyone will usually keep themselves occupied. make sure you have something to play music on, have your friends bring cds, put out food and let them know its okay to go outside. i had a huge party last february for my birthday, and people ended up having a great time just hanging out, listening to music, going outside, convincing my parents to let them go down our huge hill on an inflatable chair- they'll think of crazy and fun things to do. have fun : )
