Yes, both will help considerably, especially crunches.

that might help a little but you should ride a bike, run, or do something that pumps your heart and get you breathing hard

Well, lots of aerobic activity will make you lose weight, if you want to tone up then yoga and crunches are good but for weightloss you need to get on a treadmill or bike for about half an hour four or five days a week. Also, you shouldn't lose more than 3 pounds a week because thats unhealthy.

doing yoga and crunches may help a little, but it will most likely make you gain pounds. it isnt a bad thing because you gain muscle from working out and muscle ways more than fat. if you do yoga and crunches your fat will be replaced with muscle, so it isn't a bad thing! if you seriously want to loose weight, diet. eat healthy instead of junk food. don't stop eating because that wont help you at all!! just try and eat more on the healthy side and work out!

It'll help, but try doing sit-ups and push-ups, other exercises like that. And running/jogging will help, too. Good luck!
Hope I helped!

Yoga is great because it works pretty much every muscle in your body, so yes, it will help you to lose weight. And of course crunches will also.

Watch how many calories you eat in a day. I am in exactly the same boat with you. I am trying to lose about 20 pounds, and I have lost 2 pounds in one week from doing a lot of situps, exercise videos, and eating less. Still eat healthy, though. Instead of spending my whole day on the computer now, I do an hour of intense workout and another hour of stretching while I'm watching tv. Another good thing to do is, if you drink soda a lot, replace one can/bottle a day with a glass of water. That saves you at least 150 calories for something else. I also am eating a lot less snack food, like chips and cookies and chocolate. I also dance and play sports to keep myself physically fit. I go jogging a few times a week with my best friend for at least a half an hour each time. It really helps burn calories. This way, I get to be social and exercise at the same time. Hope I helped!!

no, those are a waste of time. you can't be lazy as fun as it may be. i was chubby, but then i joined cross country. running is truely the best solution. run a mile and a half a day and those pounds will fall off!
good luck,
