depends on the size of the cuts, and how deep they are.

Do not put Vaseline on open wounds. It will seal them and increase the likelihood of infection.

For light cuts (scratches more or less) it's better to do nothing. Just clean them with soap and water twice a day (more if they are in a location that gets exposed to raw meat, mud puddles, etc).

If it's in an area usually covered by a lot of clothing (say, your back) try to wear cotton clothes. Cotton is soft and won't snag as much on broken skin.

Deep cuts need to be cleaned out thoroughly, and need bandaging. If the cut is deep enough that you can see more than one type of tissue (for instance, if you can see the fat cells) you should see a doctor. Deep cuts usually scar.

If you need to cover them up, wearing loose fitting cotton clothing over the area is best. If the cuts are on your face, you can put make up over them. It will sting. Make sure you clean the area out well before and after, and take off the make up as soon as possible. It's not good for them, but I understand that circumstances do sometime require it.

If they are fresh cuts, you can put antibiotic stuff on them or just put vasaline on them! That always works! If your cuts are scars, than you can go to your local pharamacy and get a scar remover! Don't use cover up unless you have a color that matches your skin tone exactly because you can tell if you are wearing it! Hope I helped :)

This is one of the many reasons to give up cutting, scars aren't a pretty site. That's right it can scar- hope you don't mind explaining that to someone. There are so many reasons why it is wrong how addictivie it is and how it gives you relief from it all but its very very bad and I had to learn that the hard way. Seriously go and get some help it will make it better, it hurts others involved and no matter how screwed up your life is right now you could at least think of the people who care for you. Stop it and get some help- last thing you want on your mind if your fucked up is how to hide the scars

You cant really cover them up. If there still fresh then you should put antibiotic on them to make them go away faster and not scar as much. If their kind of old they have things at drug stores that reduce the scars and make them less vissible. Otherwise you can use cover up, whitch i've done. But if their fresh it makes it a lot more noticable and looks bad. Or you could try tanning. Good luck..!

First off, what kind of cuts are these? If you're cutting yourself on purpose you should tell someone.. if not, just cover it w/ ur clothes or get something to heal it faster..

if your "cutting", the best way to cover the cuts is to stop, and get help, because thats not good, at all,and you need to seriously think about getting some sort of help from a school counsler, or a friend, and even if you dont want to talk to your parents, no one deserves that kind of pain, at all!!! but if its just like a scrape, makeup works.
