my hamster is 2 years old and i feed her salad every 3rd or 4th day, i noticed yesterday that she has a small bald spot on her back, it seems as if shes losing fur. whats happening to her?

I've had a hamster with that same problem, and I dont know how to break it to you, but your hamster is aging. it'll keep doing that until it finally deceases. I'm very sorry, but its the way of life. Just remember that it's not your fault.

Sorry sweetie he is probably making a turn for the worst. If you are really concerned you may want to take her to the vet. But if not just try to make her comfortable on her last days. Daisy answered Wednesday December 8 2004, 2:24 pm: She might have fleas or a skin problem and is scratching that part of her back and is losing fur. Just take her to the vet and they can sort it out. It's nothing serious, don't worry. [ Daisy's advice column | Ask Daisy A Question ]
